When did this become a UK thing? and how was it started just this season?
I met a couple UK guys in Vegas on Saturday after we beat Murray State and they were going on and on about the three goggles so I said we did it first and they got all pissed and started bitching about 2003.
We did it in 2011, but Washington did it all year in 2010, including when they bounced us from the tournament. Then Wes, who was on the Blazers, encouraged our team to do it. We were definitely before Kentucky with the three goggles, but like the big heads in the student section, we definitely did not originate it (San Diego St.).
Half the country stole 3-goggles, but it didn't start here, it started with the Portland Trailblazers in the NBA. It only started with us in the college ranks because of Wes Matthews. Either way, I think it's pretty well played out now, but go figure it'd be morons in Lexington that still think it's cool or trendy a good 12 months after it was at its peak.
At least we were the first to have Noggins
Kentucky fans haven't even gotten over the John Wall dance. . . They'll be doing 3 Goggles for another few years before realizing people are over it.

Shhhhhhh.... don't tell that to SDSU. They'll break you.
I saw this shirt at Nike Town in Chicago and thought it was really cool. If only they would have made it for the correct school...

Isn't Marquette responsible for approving their own apparel?
