Anyone heard anything on TJ Taylor's year in JUCO?
Can we expect him to contribute right away?
Nominated for JUCO All-American, so he did pretty well.
He'll look good in an SMU uni next year too!
I believe the other board tracks all of the recruits progress.
I tried searching with no luck, but I know they have it there somewhere if you want to dig for it.

Google Marquette Scout Recruit stats.
14 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists a game
46% fg%, 33% from 3 (48 of 145) and 73% from the FT line

I suspect he will step in an immediately be the first guard off the bench.

Agree. Vander, Mayo, TJ, and hopefully Jamail. I think Thomas is in the mix somewhere too, but you and I have already had that discussion. ;)

imo; he isn't starting over Mayo, JR or blue. Just doesn't seem like something buzz would do. They know too much for him to make up the ground that quickly. Possibly by the 2nd half of BE play?
TJ Taylor is coming in as a junior, correct? Like Crowder? I think we will see a lot of him next year.
I think the lineup will be
1) Junior
2) Mayo
3) Blue
4) JWilson
5) Otule
TJ Taylor and Gardner first off the bench.

I think Gardner will start over Otule. At least he should..

Doesn't matter who starts. They will split time pretty equally if Otule is healthy.
hey does anyone know if Jameel McKay is realted to Jamaar McKay? guess is yes.
Third year sophmore.....So very developed.....and very good, strong, and big.....
Can easily play the 2 or the 3.....Depending on match-ups......
Alot of really nice Mayo, Taylor combo's together or alone.....and then S. Taylor/ J. Wilson combo's at the 3/4 also.....
And then there is the small line-up of all 4 together.....Scarey athleticism.....
Especially if Vander plays the point and they go full court press.....

Boy do i like this line up defensively, even better if DWil sees some time at point.
Anyone know how Otule is progressing?

I spoke with him at Louisville (3/17) and he said he was expected to start running in three or four weeks.
I went ahead and transcribed my talk with him for you.
Update on your knee: "The knee's doing good. I think I'm nine weeks out of surgery so I'm at the stage where I'm trying to get strength in my knee. So hopefully I'll be running in three weeks to a month."
What's rehab consisted of: "Just a lot of strength work. Trying to strengthen my quads, hamstrings, calf muscles."
How does the knee feel: "My knee feels like I can play, but the doctor said that's normal but the worst thing you can do is when you go out there and feel like you can play you can mess it up, so I'm just taking it easy. But it feels 100 percent."
How do you deal with it feeling 100 percent: "You're supposed to stay with the timetable because right now is the most vulnerable time for my knee. I'm just taking it one week at a time, doing what I need to do."
Antsy to get out there: "You get antsy. When you're at practice you want to run around with the guys, but you have to just sit there."
Tough to watch from sideline: "It's a crazy feeling, because a part of me wants to be out there, and that hurts. But the other side of me is happy for them, cheering for them and celebrating making it to the Sweet 16 with them."
Seeing Davante come up big vs. Murray State: "Davante is the on-off switch. He just comes in and gives us instant offense. I'm real proud of him and we need him to win."
