i really hope vander continues to improve as he did this year. he's such a tough competitor. if he brings it all together this summer with his jumper, he could take on the "mr everything" role next year.

i'm actually feeling good with junior and blue in the back court, lots of experience leadership from those guys.

He does show sparks of brilliance... more and more.  Can't wait to see him next year.

I love watching Blue rebounding.  He really gets up there for it.  I hope he puts it all together and becomes a star next year.

I should say I like watching the rest of his game as well, I just really love his rebounding form.

Vander's Mormon?! Or is it just his mom?!

Buzz really knows his recruits families...

Mormons all have 90 wives.  He can't marry another woman because he's already married.

It's obviously a shot right at BYU.

Great story, just a quick suggestion, in your story you mentioned but was VB ticketed outside of a bar, but wasn't a restaurant?  I just think the bar comment leads the audience to think he was in the bar, underage drinking, and that alcohol was responsible for that incident.

This is a great find:

"Blue was one of three Big East players to average at least 8.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in conference play. Pittsburgh forward Lamar Patterson and Georgetown center Henry Sims were the other two."

Vander is good/very good at almost every part of basketball. His tragic flaw is shooting and finishing.

If he can be an average shooter and get a little stronger (to finish), he is going to be all conf.

If he can be a good shooter, he'll be all-american.

It's really up to him as to how good he wants to be. McNeal made a big jump and shooting and was AA. Vander could do the same.
