Title: Did the uproar in the local media affect the team?

I haven't seen this discussed.    Was the media uproar a contributing factor to the flat performances?

Highly unlikely. I also don't think it was a flat performance. It's amazing how bad/"flat" a team can look when the shots aren't falling. MU got plenty of open looks, especially in the second half. They just didn't fall.

Could have been, but doubt we will ever know.  Being in Phoenix, not sure how much they heard about it.  Didn't see it from an emotional standpoint, preparedness or being flat, which leads me to believe it did not have much impact.

The local media is a joke. Milwaukee is a very insular place and I hope Buzz realizes that. Who cares about the crap the Do nothing, accomplish nothing Milwaukee media says?

...add to it that the incident happened 2 months ago.  I would think it would have affected them more around the time they were "disciplined".  Not just them knowing it's being talked about in Milwaukee a time zone away.  I think Buzz nipped it in the bud out there with the media.
Wonder if the WVU half suspensions had anything to do with the incident.
