Title: Early games - who are we rooting for?
Post by: mileskishnish72 on March 22, 2012, 07:11:03 PM
Watching Syracuse/Wisky - don't have the big Badger hate, and can't stand the corrupt, bolting Syracuse, so am pulling for Wisconsin. It would be cool if 1/4 of the Elite Eight would be from the Dairy state.

Louisville/MSU - hate Loserville's coach, but am pulling for the Big Eat,so we don't have to hear about how great the Big 10 is.

I'm hoping the arena implodes for the first one. If the Badgers win their fans will be insufferable, but I abhor Syracuse just as much.

I want another crack at Loserville...

I'm pulling for all the Big East teams (except when they play us).  I hoping Big 10 fans will be shut up for the rest of this tourney before we take the court in 2 hours (Syracuse, Loserville and Cincy all win).

Clean sweep for the Big East tonight!

Whoever you're rooting for, I think we can all agree the play has been subpar. A continued theme to the regular season.

Really, really good opportunity to do some damage in the this Tournament for the right team. (hint, hint)

I am pulling for Syracuse and Michigan State for bracket purposes only.

I would love to see Louisville win though, despite my bracket being absolutely donzo if so.

Big East pride.
Title: MSU or Louisville?
Post by: jesmu84 on March 22, 2012, 08:00:43 PM
Would it be a benefit to play MSU because they wouldn't have time to prepare? Or a benefit to play Ville cause we know them so well?

I would rather play Louisville despite the outcome of the last game. We have a bone to pick!

Each win is worth about $1.7M to the conference at this point. Big East could pocket no less than $5-cool with a sweep tonight.

Woah didn't realize the value was that high in the Sweet 16.

Has Bo become a caricature of himself at this point in his career?

Love this tweet - @rushthecourt " 'You having a happy talk down there?' - Bo Ryan to official standing next to Jim Boeheim"

Yeah but Pitino knows us so well too!  On the other hand, I am for all BE teams.  BTW, did anyone notice that it is the former Conf USA teams and (the traitorous, child abusing, drug using Cuse) who are left from the BE in the Tourney?

Unfinished business with Louisville.  I would love to see a MU/Louisville Elite 8 Game.

Well there is one $1.7 million chunk.

Guess we can't do worse than UW.

Close game, but a 30 footer by Taylor???????  Jeeeeez.

Good 3 point shooting second half by Bucky, but come up short.

BTW, this year there has been no overtime games and no buzzer beaters.  Yet.....

Poor choice of words on my part.  It's the same for each round... each game played in the tourney this year is worth about $1.7 million paid out over six years. Best part, the money stays in the conference if the school leaves.  Thank you Syracuse.

OK, OK. Big East it is - although I have trouble thinking of those quisling lousy despicable turncoat Orangemen as being worthy of support. Come on, Warriors and Bearcats.

Bucky board calling out MSU for "setting bball back 50 years" for the low scoring first half. ironical

Two Big East wins tonight.  Let's make it three.

Anyone else think MSU completely lost their composure in the last 3-4 minutes? They really looked desperate and out of sorts. Very unlike an Izzo-led team.

UL beat the pants off MSU.  If we win I hope Buzz finds some revelations on how to beat them during his sleep deprivation.
