Exciting narrative, partner! Thanks for letting this alum and long time Warrior fan relive the moments.
Most exciting 7:35 of basketball I think I have ever seen. Our 500 strong Section 117 supportive and jubilant throughout. 20,000 Kentucky fans in their blue T-shirts filling the rest of the arena sitting on their hands witnessing 'Character Revealed'. My recollection is that our chant of MVP! MVP! after Jae's forced charge and subsequent 3 goggle shot resulted in an explosion of boos. God, we loved it.
Really? It wasn't seven minutes of things occurring on this board?
Please don't cite Bill Simmons as someone whose writing style you're going or want to emulate. He's been awful since about 2003. He's as bad as Rick Reilly now - neither has churned out an original article in many years. Just layers upon layers of recycled schlock.
Real nice piece. It was fun re-living those key moments again! ;D
This is one for the portfolio, Scrotty!
Great recap...I remember sitting in the hotel room in Vegas with 3 extremely hungover and pissed off K-State fans watching this, unable to sit still, incredibly nervous with my palms sweating uncontrollably.
What a fantastic end to one of the best games I've watched all year, Marquette non-exclusive. I couldn't stop smiling all day after this win and cannot wait for Thursday!
