Man for a guy who many scoopers said couldn't play, he sure looks good.
Scott Christopherson would absolutely help our team - rich man's jake thomas/poor man's travis diener?.
UConn getting crushed. Look lost and disorganized.

Christopherson- who cares.
ISU-wow. They're strokin.
the "experts" on this board are never wrong!!! Great game he's having.
All Big 12 for the second straight year. Good for him. Would love to see UCONN go down.
Iowa State 36
Uconn 14
7:29, first Half
Scotty C has 11 3 - 3 from 3 pt land
Dude woulda helped us. Cat can shoot it and handle the rock. Hello Jr.
But he's a traditional, so he wouldn't have helped. :P

Would the "experts" here tell me what to do with Apple? Do the opposite and you can retire!
Dude would have graduated last year. He made a decision. He has thrived, MU has thrived. Congrats to the young man.
Kinda doubt he would have helped all that much, given that he would have used up his eligibility a year ago.
I liked him at the time. Didn't he pummel the recruit whose home jackass showed up at in a limo?
You would be referrin' to Shumpert.
Benefit of being a 5th year senior... Good for him

Why? Cause I don't give a sh!t about some guy who went to MU 5 years ago?

I didn't ask why. I asked that you stay classy. If you don't care about someone that is a good kid, a Wisconsin kid that used to be at MU, then ignore the thread.
By the way, my belief is that SC would redshirt his sophomore year and be a senior this year. With the guards we had as seniors when he was a Freshman, that would have been the smartest move. Happy for the kid.

I actually responded to the ISU/UCONN thread, so go pound sand.
I am glad he makes your tummy tingle.

Would have been the smartest move in retrospect, but no way it would have actually happened.
I'm shocked that Chicos would defend a Crean recruit several times on this thread.

+1. If you don't care then don't respond. It's pretty simple to see the thread title. If you don't care about Christopherson, then don't read the thread. If you're in the ISU vs. UCONN game thread, then why would you go out of your way to post how you don't give a sh!t about a player who's playing in the game? It's not like it's off topic, he's playing in the freaking game. If Napier was going off and somebody stated that in the game thread would you be pissed about that too? Probably not. You're going out of your way to tell people you don't care because he was recruited by Crean and moved on when Crean left. You clearly care and wish he was a flameout at ISU so you could scream "SEE! I TOLD YOU HE COULDN'T PLAY IN A MAJOR CONFERENCE!" When he completely proves you wrong, you say you don't care. Convenient.
Anyway, really happy for him. Great guy. Talked to him earlier today and he was really excited for it. Hoping they can give Kentucky a run for their money on Saturday. Not holding my breath, but it would be fun. And if they're giving them a little run and Scott's going off, feel free to stay away from the game thread, because I'll go ahead and point it out.
He would definitely help this year's team if he somehow would have been around. You never know what would have happened, and maybe he would have never developed at Marquette. But the player that he is today would be a starting point guard at Marquette, no doubt.
What a bush play by Lamb at the end of the game, but Karma got him in the end! :D

I'm happy for him and readily admit I underestimated his game a bit, but from what I saw tonight he's still mainly a 3 point specialist (and a damn good one - 3 for 3 tonight) and a guy to hit free throws when the other team is forced to foul. If he's guarded at the 3 point line and forced to drive the ball (as he was the last 30 minutes tonight) he struggles - 1 for 8 on 2 point shots tonight. I don't think he'd be our starting point guard because from what I saw tonight (and in the past) he's not a point guard.

Christopherson- who cares.
I do.
I like to see what former MU players are doing, and if they leave in "non-dickish" ways, want them to succeed. (As long as it isn't against MU of course.)
Considering that there are dozens of responses, I guess I am not the only one that feels that way.
If he ushers UK out of the tournament with barrage of 3's, then I will care.

This and by all accounts he was a really quality kid. I don't think we saw the real Christopherson his freshman year due to his knee injury. Although, I still say his 3 pointer against Cincy that year was a huge shot. I think his style just didn't fit with the style Buzz wanted to play.
Watching the game, after his awesome start, he didn't do a ton until hitting free throws to seal it, and there were some instances where he was no match for UCONN's guards, so I can still see some of the doubt as far as if he would have played a big role at Marquette. However, I was one who didn't think he was athletic enough to be an impact player at high-D1 and I was very wrong. Honorable mention All Big-12 two years in a row shows that he had success. Hopefully he can keep playing well and knock off Kentucky.
Christopherson is solid, good for the kid. Not sure he fits our style, then again Cadougan doesn't perfectly either.
Royce White is the real deal when he's not stealing laptops. Have Kentucky beating ISU but it'll probably be a very good game.

I thought he stole jeans from MOA, am I thinking of another Gopher?
Can't keep track of those golden rodents anymore. He stole something.
Been real impressed with his physical makeup and play though.
I think he had a few issues at Minnesota. He was accused of the laptops I believe, but adamant he didn't. He assaulted a MOA guard when caught for stealing. I think he has a personality disorder that caused some of this. There was a good article a little while ago about his story and it was very interesting. He's a heck of a player.

Nothing strange. To answer your question, no.
Some of us were primarily lurkers for a number of years and spent more time on Scout, especially when I was living in Seattle at the time. LennysTap is another one that lurked here but only joined in the last few years. He has stated as such on several occasions. There are others in the same fold.

He was 3rd Team this season. Not a big difference, just pointing it out.
But I can see why people would say he doesn't seem to fit the system that Buzz is running at Marquette. I'm glad he found a place where he can have success.

UCONN had the laptop theft. White stole $100 worth of clothing. Makes him a candidate to be a part of the 2011-2012 Madison Memorial basketball team.
BOTH of ISU's best players last year were Wisco products, Diante Garrett and Christopherson. 8-)
And Korie Lucious will be a senior there next year.
