Post by: nyg on March 15, 2012, 04:19:06 PM
Well?

Jae  25 points, 16 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 assists.

Kudos to DJO in second half, Gardner and Mayo.

Going to have to go with BE POY Jae for the monster numbers.  DJO the runner-up with 21/5/3 and getting us a basket every single time we needed one in the second half (except for Mayo doing it once or twice).  Sixth man also close, would give Gardner a slight edge over Mayo in that one.

Without question Jae. Take anyone else off the floor in that game and it doesn't mean as much as Jae coming off.

Absolutely Jae.  But man oh man nice to see Todd bury some open 3's.  We've been missing that!

Jae as SOG, but Mayo would be my honorable mention. He provided a much needed spark in that second half when we came out sluggish.

SOG and with such class. Shaking the BYU coach's hand at the end of the game may have been the most proud of him I was in a game full of incredible moments. Just shows that Buzz really means it when he talks about building character, that he's an even better human being than he is a player.

Mr. Crowder, obviously.

But man oh man were those 3s by Mayo huge and unexpected. Sure would be nice if we can expect them again!
