I have been doing my company's ncaa pool since 1988. It has always amazed me that in the first round there is one day were there are a lot of upsets. The other day there are hardly any. My conclusion has been, if you are a favorite you do not want to be playing on the upset day. Murray St losing would be an indication that Thursday is the upset day.
Aside from the seeding rank I do not think it is an upset. If Murray State loses it would make my day, not concern me.

Well, hard to refute your statistical showing.

MU is already screwed. I forgot to wear my lucky shirt and I can't go home to change. Start selling those Saturday tickets now.
Uh OH...the moon is in it's waning crescent phase, these tea leaves don't look good, the magic 8Ball says "Outlook not so good," and I may have forgotten to poke my BYU voodoo doll in the crotch.
Not to mention that Marquette has never won a non-home game when a particular friend of mine has been in attendance, and despite my threats, he is at the Yum Center right now!
Also, an elderly gypsy lady cursed me earlier this morning when I dropped a mirror in front of her black cat. And I used the last wish up on my monkey paw.

I'm right there with you Chick. I'm in my office and needed to have a suit on due to court and a meeting later with a client....couldn't wear my lucky Warriors shirt.
I guess we no longer need to worry...

Yeah, someone just called me into a 3 pm meeting. Forecast says expect irritability and decisiveness, slight chance of alcohol breath.

Well, bilsu, you were right. There was an upset day in the first round, but it was today.
Morr than one upset, brackets across America are being busted.

Not for those of us with Duke, Michigan and Missouri losing by round 2. ;)
See what I mean.
There is almost always one normal day and one upset day in the first round.
The day you play matters'

In Duke's case, it doesn't matter anymore since that's months and months from now ;D
Funny thread.
