I've seen some posts wondering about our team, and I'll give a quick scouting report. We have two great big men in Davies and Hartsock. Davies is more back to the basket and Hartsock is more of a high-post/baseline jumper guy. Hartsock is the heart and soul of this team, problem is that he isn't healthy. He hurt his knee pretty badly late in year and hasn't been the same since. We have a good Freshman PG in Carlino. He isn't consistant though. He played really well early on in the year but lately he has been struggling with his shot and shot selection in general. Remember his name though, he will be a very good player by the end of his career. I know I shouldn't over look IONA because they're a good team, but you guys shouldn't have any trouble with us. I can try and be a BYUfan all I want but bottom line is you guys are a better team. We'd have to play near perfect to beat you.
Why don't you post that to Iona's board... you might not be playing the Warriors...
Thanks for stopping by BYU. Hope you're right!

Don't mind this guy.
Welcome to the board. Good luck on Tuesday and hopefully we'll see you on Thursday.
By the way, do you follow your men's volleyball team? You guys have a hell of a team this year.
They are hella good this year.
Thanks BYUfan, I love a realist, hope you are correct that we should win, but you never know. I would like to believe we should win. I think our guys will play angry considering what happened in new york. That's when we are scary good i think.....lol
watched a couple BYU games this year and Hartsock is a player with alot of heart
Good Luck BYU
Carlino was originally committed to indiana, then went to UCLA, then on to BYU. As with the recent UCLA departures listed in the SI article, he's done pretty well since moving away from Westwood. Didn't play a minute for UCLA.

Yeah Taylor Sanders is a stud. There's a kid from the Milwaukee area on the team (actually I think he only lived in Milwaukee for most of high school, moved in from somewhere else). Phil Fuchs. Just got back from his mission trip this year so he has been out of the program. Not sure how much he plays.
Chris McGowan, the coach, has come and given us a couple of coaching clinics each of the past 2 years. His dad, the legendary Carl, came this year as well. Great guys. Great coaches.

If we met up at the game and I offered you a Diet Pepsi, would you have to refuse?
Typical BYU fan, getting in opposing fans' faces, trash-talking and spewing expletives!
Well, it would be easier to hate you if you did, anyway.

How do you know he's Mormon? Jim McMahon wasn't Mormon and went to BYU. About 500 students each year are non LDS at BYU.

That means statistically it is a fairly safe bet.
I just don't know why you would drink that... Bring me some Mt. Dew and we will talk.
Carlino can flat out play. He was rated very closely to Austin Rivers until his move to Indiana during his Jr. year. Since he has ties to MU I am sure he would love to play the Warriors.

What are his ties to MU? Committing to Crean and IU? Did we recruit him too?
Matt's grandfather is Buck Brunkhorst and Buck's brother Brian played at MU for Al. Matt spent time at MU over summers when TC was coach. Again, when he was in 8th grade he was in Time magazine because he had college offers starting in 8th grade. Long journey to BYU but he can play.

This is why MU should play BYU. Their fans are just more clever than the Ionians.
Yeah but the Mormans supposed to be celibate and this person assumes that Co. St. is toast
BYUfan, welcome. What kind of tempo does your team play? How are the guards against pressure? You guys don't look overly large. Thank goodness we didn't have to play you last year. The way we guard the 3, Jimmer would have gone for 50.

Here is the big question. Can those guys sprint to get back on defense every possession for 40 minutes? Cause they will have to run to keep in front of MU. We lead the world in fast breaks after made baskets.*
*made up statistic.

Why, whomever do you speak of?
Just like Jim McMahon became sort of a Green Bay Packer, he was once sort of a Mormon. His mother was a convert, and encouraged his attending college in Provo. His ex-wife, Nancy, whom he met at BYU, is a Mormon.

The cheating/match-fixing Pakistani cricket team. They're the worst, Jerry. The worst.

1999 advertisement: "When I was a little boy growing up in northern Michigan, Coke was my favorite soft drink. It's the Real Thing!"
2008: "When I was a little boy growing up in northern Michigan, I always thought that Pepsi was the One! It's Pepsi, it's Pepsi!"
Thanks BYU. We appreciate you coming on board. Good luck tomorrow night.

What the heck are you even sayin'? Lay off that Diet Pepsi, Boy!
Sorry BYUFan, looks like MU and BYU probably won't be meeting.
Or...
Haha, spoke too soon. Wow! Talk about a comeback.
