So I'm coming back from a night of lament at MSG in New York City. Went to some live music clubs, late, late dinner at Blue Ribbon in SOHO. I get out of the cAb in front of Roosevelt Hotel and see two guys heading into hotel in front of me, both wearing sunglasses. It's 4 in the morning. I've been drinking steadily all night and am just ready to call it. I say, "DJO," and
he looks back. Quickly, I fiigure out it's DJO and Vander. They look back and scurry into the elevator, running actually. I'm a dumb drunk alumni. What the he'll are they doing out until 4 in the morning?
Same thing you and I would be doing!
Were you an RA? Hopefully there isn't violation of team rules involved or you post may have ratted them out and we could lose them for another half. :(
So be it. Can't follow team rules at this point don't deserve to play. BTW this story would ony bother me if they did indeed break a team rule.

Celebrating? Better question is why are they wearing sunglasses at 4 am?
Considering you were drinking for more than a few hours and the guys you allegedly saw were wearing glasses, I'm not putting a whole lot of stock into your ID. I actually find this post really irresponsible.
It's 3:12 cst.
There'd be something wrong with them if the didn't need a few after that stinkeroo.
College kids out till 4 in the morning!!! Lets post about it, the shame, oh the shame. They should have found a gym and been shooting FTs or working in the hotel lobby with JC on bounce and chest passes.
BFD. They don't have another game until at least next Thursday (six days off). They, too, obviously went out for a late corned beef sandwich after a tough loss.
I'm sorry, I saw this headline and I thought we were discussing the team's assist-to-turnover ratio.
It could have been Kanye. I saw Aamot coming out of a Denny's around 3:15 am in Cedarberg once

That's still a possibility...
Maybe Junior was in charge of flagging down the cab and he misfired for two hours.

O k, all the Junior attacks are getting out of hand, but this one made me laugh. Well played.
I would have preferred the team cried themselves to sleep last night, upset at how they let me down.

The days of guys crying themselves to sleep are long gone. It is stupid guys like me that cry themselves to sleep in this era of sports. I remember on old player that literally could not accept losing and is still bothered by losses years later.
Hopefully the boys behaved in the the Apple after the game and come back ready to play. They got their ass kicked and if that is not wake up call nothing is.
If you're out until 4, you shouldn't remember who you saw on the street, not to mention what they were wearing.
Are we sure these guys didn't fly back to Milwaukee last night? I assumed that the team would just go home once they lost.
They obviously have an off-day tomorrow (assumed, but almost positive), so who cares if they got to enjoy New York City one last night, and for DJO one last time as a college player?
I tweeted that the team seemed content after losing to Notre Dame, and they won five in a row after that.
IF the story is true, I'm glad they can keep a basketball game in perspective and enjoy New York City, presuming Buzz allowed them to stay out.
Move along.

I agree. IF Buzz allowed them to stay out.
Was Gronk with them?

Up early or up late Goose? Say hey to jeff for me...raymie
Doesn't Buzz always say that the team can celebrate or mourn until midnight and then it's time to move on? Clearly these two (assuming it actually was those two) mourned had moved on.
God I hate the internet.
Isn't this something you could just share with your buddies? Do you have to put it online for all of the world to read?
Let's the kids have some privacy. Good Lord.
Way overblown. What if they were getting breakfast before practice at 5? Or they had a flight back to milwaukee at that time to get back for class?
There's a million assumptions being made if this is taken in any way negatively. Who cares.

stupid thread, none of our business. Besides everytime someone replys in the thread it brings it back to the top so it never dies, wait.. damn..
OK, I'm going to be really pissed off if DJO and Vander are suspended for an unspecified violation of team rules for our first round game. What the hell?

I'm not. We always win games where guys are suspended.
They look back and scurry into the elevator, running actually.
It could be that they didn't feel like rehashing a losing game with a drunk guy at 4 in the morning.
I saw the title and I though it was the time of game in the first half when Junior decided he was going to brick a 3-pointer instead of working for a good shot to take our first lead.

I thought it was when Gardner was mugged by three guys then Kuric hit a 3.

Now that was funny. Great first post!
