Ugh, these Louisville uni's are that ugly Illinois-UW game in one jersey.  Adidas needs to be banned from the NCAA for these latest creations.

Why cant we come out playing smart in a game?

They get every loose ball. Davante cant even bend over to get the ball and it leads to a 3.

All 3 of our bigs have fouls.

Junior out of control.  Three turnovers already by him.  Five for MU.  Calm down boys.... and watch for fouls.

Just finding ways to give the ball away now.  No value for the ball.  Slow things down for a few minutes so the guys realize where they are before running up and down the court without any awareness.

Title: Re: Louisville game thread

Dieng on bench.  UL getting cold.

Crowder is 1 for 7 from field, that will not continue.  He has 7 boards already.

Junior with six and Vander with three turnovers.  Cut them down and get it close before half.

Just don't get in foul trouble.

And Jae misses two foul shots.  Oh man.

3 on Crowder.  Cadougan's playing for Louisville with the turnovers and not playing defense either.  This turned into a disaster quickly.  At least DJO has stopped it from being over at halftime.  50 points...most teams have been struggling to get there for an entire game so far.

UL is only 4 for 13 from three, but it seems like more.  The turnovers by Junior (8) and Blue (3) are the reason for the 10 point lead.

That three point miss after a great run was the key point of the game.  If MU scored, they would actually had the lead.

Now Jae has three fouls.

Key to second half:  no turnovers and get #4 on Dieng EARLY.

The problem is, when Cadougan is awful like this we don;t have someone else to bring in.  I don't trust D Wilson against this pressure.  Key for the second half is to get stops.  They got 50, but they're getting a lot in transition due to turnovers and bad shots.

DG's unable to get anything going either tonight, even without Dieng in.  He had 17 in the first meeting.  UL missing badly when forced to play a half court game.  We're missing too, but they're bunnies.  Crazy stat by Buzz - 6 of UL's 50 came in their halfcourt offense.

Really do not understand Gardner's infatuation with holding the ball in traffic and drawing trouble.  He has done that a lot.  Leads to a break out and takes an opportunity away.  With Jae on the bench, we do not need him to play like that 15 feet from the hoop.
Title: Re: Louisville game thread

Down four.  DG can't hold on to the damn ball.  UL goes down, misses three shots, gets three offensive rebounds and then a three.  Buzz about to implode on sideline.

True.

And Ville continues to show to the end that they are a very dumb basketball team.

That is what hurts.  I said several times, UL will let us back in it.  We never took full advantage of their stupidity.

How f**king embarassing!

JC is the most useless player on this team all year! Please junior go f#ck up again so I don't have to look at your a$$ the rest of the year.  Out of all the people you should be going to practice early instead of late!

So, being ranked 9th is over rated too... Not deserved based on our record.

Lighten up Francis.  In the big picture, its just one game.  Next weekend is when it counts.
Yep.  As disappointed I am with the game, poise, effort and result - next week is what matters.  I don't remember many people talking about our Quarterfinal loss last year, the NCAA run is what mattered.  That is what we have left.  Enjoy it.

But, even with the 2nd chance opportunities, had MU converted when they had the chance, it would have been a different story.

Ya think?

Lu was hot tonight and we couldn't match their energy. Everything falling for them and we were cold when we took decent shots. too many mistakes like numreous times driving through the defense and losing the ball.

they were 9-35 in the 2nd half

Yeah maybe so Titan.

Please tell me someone who has less value then?

This guys supposed to be a leader, watching him turn the ball over then smile an walk away pisses me off!  He's broke numerous team rules all year, he's about as useless as tits on a bull. This isn't the first time I've come down on him, and certainly won't be the last I'm sure

Guess I can always look forward to him achieving stud of the games when we play uwgb

Will the board meltdown tonight?  Will there be a poll for "Turd of the game"?
