Title: Player Safety
Post by: TallTitan34 on March 07, 2012, 08:41:37 PM
Is anyone else worried about a player slipping on one of the giant decals they have on the court this year?  Not only do they have the standard sponser decals, they have two giant Dick Gavitt decals as well.

If we make it out of NYC without an injury I'll be thankful.

Yes. Escaping without injury is goal 1a, winning the damn thing is 1b.

I see a Reece's logo too.  The whole floor is a damn decal.  Stupid advertising.  I guess maybe we can run our press to force them onto the logos to try to get them to slip and turn it over.

I like the shot clock they superimpose on the court.  I wish they would do that for the ads!

That would lake too much sense.

Except nobody at MSG would be able to see them.

Seriously, why don't they?  Is the advertising that big a deal to those in attendance, where they can put ads everywhere in and outside the building?  Yeah, it would piss people off knowing there are ads being put on the court just on their television, but it's the same thing they see now and without the player safety issues.  Patent it now, maybe you can make millions off the idea.

So basically MSG has turned into the court from NES' Arch Rivals??

The BE should be ashamed.  The almighty dollar over potential injury.  Horrible.  Truly pathetic.

I'm more worried about Buzz personally kicking the tar out of Junior for the terrible game he had tonight...
