Jae Crowder finished Saturday's win vs Georgetown with 26 points, 14 rebounds and 5 steals. The last player to hit those numbers in a game was Lehigh's C.J. McCollum over a year ago (Feb. 16, 2011). The last player to hit those numbers in a WIN was Vermont's Marqus Blakely on Feb. 20, 2008. NO other player has hit those numbers vs a RANKED OPPONENT over the last 15 years.
Now that's very interesting!
Full disclosure. I pulled that from ESPN's page.
He also went 0-5 from 3pt land.. wow I didn't even notice that.
MU shot terribly from the 3. 2-12. Shows that we can score in ways other than the 3 though.

To this I simply say wow.
So that 2-3 zone that Georgetown was really hurting us? Wait, we scored 83 points... so, guess not. But still, why can't we play well against zone defenses??

Same reason we can't shoot free throws........
Or Buzz can't coach defense...
