Title: From ESPN summary of game
Post by: muneworleans on March 03, 2012, 04:57:30 PM

Jae Crowder finished Saturday's win vs Georgetown with 26 points, 14 rebounds and 5 steals. The last player to hit those numbers in a game was Lehigh's C.J. McCollum over a year ago (Feb. 16, 2011). The last player to hit those numbers in a WIN was Vermont's Marqus Blakely on Feb. 20, 2008. NO other player has hit those numbers vs a RANKED OPPONENT over the last 15 years.

It's BS that the POY voting ended before this game.  Because now Jae has another monster game, we beat GU and finish 2nd in the conference for the first time.  Jae deserves POY in the Big East more than anyone.  Kevin Jones is great, but WV isn't even a lock for the tournament.
