I was going to book a flight (Southwest - so it's refundable) to an NCAA 1st round site today in the hopes of saving some $$$ if I can guess correctly.
Lunardi has us going to Columbus. I know he's good at predicting the field but is he any good at locations?
What's your best bet as to where MU will be headed for the NCAAs?
He correctly predicted us in San Jose a couple years ago, but in that final week he moved us to another city before moving us back right before Selection Sunday.
New Orleans! Think positive!
I'm hoping for the Old Gym!
They always dick us over and send us west... so something out there would be a good bet.
Saturday will go a long way to deciding where MU ends up. Looks to me like the top 8 are pretty set.
1's and 2's
Kentucky -> Louisville
Syracuse -> Pittsburgh
Kansas -> Omaha
Duke -> Greensboro
North Carolina -> Greensboro
Missouri -> Omaha
Ohio State -> Pittsburgh (can't be Columbus)
Michigan St -> Columbus
3's
Georgetown, Michigan, Marquette -> One each to Columbus, Louisville, Nashville
Baylor -> Albuquerque
4's
Indiana, Wisconsin -> One each to Nashville, Albuquerque (possibly Portland)
Wichita St, Murray St -> Both to Portland (possibly one to Albuquerque)
Honestly, it depends on the final resumes of Georgetown, Michigan and Marquette and they're all really close.
I would say wait until the G'Town game. If we win book your flight to Columbus. It is only a 3.5 hour drive to Louisville and 3.5 hour drive to Pittsburgh. One would have to think we would go to one of those three locations with a 3 seed.
