but let's go Wisconsin. Up 1 on OSU with 12 left. A win could push MU right next to OSU in the race for seeding (and obviously helps our resume given that we beat Wisconsin). OSU has to play at Michigan State to end the season, so this potentially could be a big game if Marquette is hoping for a 2 seed.
Yup, had similar thoughts. A Wisc win definitely helps the RPI too.
If Marquette takes care of business the rest of tbe regular season and makes it to the beast championship game we shouldn't need Becky's help.
F bucky!
I threw up a little in my mouth but then I realized I'll cheer for OSU to lose.
That way I don't have to cheer for the school-who-shall-be-unnamed and the result we all want is the same ;D
Sorry guys...I just can't do it.

+1. That gets me around the horror of saying anything nice about Wisconsin. I'm officially rooting for OSU to blow this game so badly that even DePaul would beat them.
OSU down 1, 1 minute left.
Wow, 1 pt game with 30 sec left
up 4 with 14.2 seconds to go
Sullinger is pretty overrated.
Wisky will win. Up 4 with .3 to go and OSU shooting 2. This works well for me. Bump OSU.
Love it.
Brings OSU to 23-6 compared to MU's 24-5, and they've still got a top-10 opponent on the road. If MU can take care of business against Cincy and GT, things are looking promising!
Didn't cheer for Wisco, but I have no complaints about the outcome.
Probably JT's best game this season. He's still crap though.
As unpleasant as it gets for a helpful outcome for us.
Big THANK YOU to our Bucky 'friends'. Nice work on the road. We'll take that #2 seed, thank you very much. Now it's up to Jae, DJO and the boys not to give it up.

Does this make them our "frenemies?" Are we and the school-who-shall-not-be-named turning into:

I probably don't pay attention to OSU/Big Ten enough to ask this question...
What has he done to warrant POY candidate status? His numbers certainly don't jump out at you. And OSU has LOTS of talent around him.

Averaging 17/9 with 1.5 steals per game is nothing to scoff at. In the Value Add calculations by Cracked Sidewalks, they've got Sullinger as the #8 most valuable player in the country.
Maybe it's just the games that I've watched him, but he seems to play worse in the spotlight. When they're in a big game, Sullinger misses a lot of shots early and never finds a groove. OSU is lucky they have guys like Craft, Thomas, and Buford.

makes me feel dirty
I strongly dislike (hate is such an ugly word) Bucky but I'm still glad they won. I have no problem with that combination of feelings.

Let me slightly reword: I strongly dislike Bucky and I'm glad OSU lost. There - now that's something we can all agree on without having to have cheered for they-who-shall-not-be-named.
It's a nice start...but I'd still put tOSU ahead of us for a 2-seed. We just don't have the quantity of quality wins that they do.

Ohio State will likely get the nod by the committee for the No. 2 spot if they beat MSU or win the Big Ten tourney. If they lose that game, and we take care of business against Georgetown and pick up at least one win in the Big East tourney, then I'd give us the edge.
If we win out, we'll pass someone regardless, but at this moment, I just can't see it. They have 4 wins better than our best win. Beat Georgetown, hopefully twice, and beat Syracuse, we're solidly a 2-seed and no one will argue. I just feel that at this moment, they still are ahead of us. That top-eight is a tough nut to crack this year. We're close to tOSU and Mizzou, but honestly don't have a marquee win of our own yet. Our best win is #20 Louisville. We need more than that to be put alongside the North Carolinas, Dukes, and Missouris of the world.
