Title: Mayo's dunk
Post by: MountainCreekHouse on February 25, 2012, 03:50:01 PM
There has been so much other jazz bouncing around this game, I havn't really heard anyone talk about it. That dunk was absolutely sick. Video?

Bill went nuts on the dunk too. He definitely makes the game more fun to watch.

And somebody translate what Raftery said? It sound like "bone the meat and don't forget the Mayo."

It might have been the only play Todd wants to remember from the game. His 3-point shot was off by three feet. Can't believe how his shooting has deteriorated, but maybe that's called being a freshman.

Watched the video a few times.  You people and your dunks.

Comparing Vander's uncontested dunk, the speed, motion, agility needed was nearly the same.  Yeah, there was a guy in pursuit, but he hardly altered Mayo's direct line to the basket.

I'll take a bob-and-weave, dribble between defenders, avoid a 3rd defender to hook the ball into the net any time.  (Crowder, Cadougan.)

I'll take em both.  As often as possible, please!   ;D

I replayed that video from 10 second to 8 seconds about 20 times. It was awesome!

Both were better than DJO's.

I thought Mayo's dunk was awesome, and was glad he at least he had that since his outside shooting was so bad.

Does the conventional wisdom say that DJOs was just another example of him moving too fast? Seems like we've seen this before.

Enjoyed the dunk.

Would rather him be able to hit a wide-open 3, the way he used to do in the good ol' days of December.
