17 more pts in 22 mins for one of the best shooters I've ever seen.
The best.
Never seen anybody better. Not Bird, Not Craig Hodges...nobody! The fact that he can't get in the shoot out all star weekend is a borderline tragedy.

Don't forget Kerr and Allen. My vote's still for Novak. I was stunned someone chose Wade ahead of him for the Marquette Madness 3-point contest.
Beautiful!
He and Lin tied for the team lead in points tonight, both with 17. 5-10 on 3's, not too bad...
Ray Allen. It is stupid how quick and pretty of a release Ray has. But other than that, the best shooter I have ever seen.
Unguarded, nobody is better than Novak. Since Lin has exploded on the scene, Novak has had a lot of unguarded attempts. He had a ton of those from Diener and James his four years in Milwaukee and it was beautiful. I can remember as the ball was being kicked to him, before it even hit his hands, we'd stand and celebrate. The most annoying thing in the world was how people would non-stop talk about Redick as being the hands down best shooter in college without even throwing Novak's name in there. It was factually incorrect, ignorant and downright disrespectful. Novak was born to shoot J's.
Saw the highlights this morning on ESPN and assumed he wasn't playing anymore since 'Melo was back. He wasn't mentioned at all.

Figures. Why mention a guy that leads the team in scoring in 22 minutes of PT?

Steve Novak shooting 3's from 19' 9" in college was simply criminal. Never understood why he did not shoot even more.
He needed space to get his shot off. Even a 6'2 guy in his grill could throw him off. Get him a step or two, though...... It is why he struggled in the two man game with Diener at times. Not enough space because neither was quick enough. It's why he was so successful as a senior with guards who could penetrate and kick.

Also why he was so successful as a frosh in the NCAAs........

I think JFB was the second pick in that contest. Novak's team won.

Novak was essentially picked last behind Wade, JFB, and Wes; leaving Lazar and Novak to the final team. Novak proceeded to go 3/3 while the other 4 people made 2 shots and lead his team to the win.
Kids today have no respect for their "elders."
Never forget Novak making I believe 23 or 24 of 25 threes at Midnight Madness. Simply great.

ESPN finally acknowledges Novak in a headline... but it reads: "Cracker in the Chowder"
I put a "Novak" search column in Tweetdeck and there were 1400 tweets in the 5 minutes after his 4th 3ptr.
Novak ended up going 4-5 from 3-point land again tonight.
