Bo Ryan and Tom Crean have already been out to watch Wilson's high school team at Racine Horlick play while Michigan State assistant Dwayne Stephens has been in to watch Wilson's volleyball team in action.
"Marquette, Purdue, Illinois, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Kentucky, Iowa State, Michigan State...pretty much all the big-time schools," Johnkin said. But Marquette is pushing real hard and they were there before his mom died and he wanted to stay close to home. But it's still gonna be kind of the same situation. I know father is really big on books. Like, books, books, books. He wants to see him graduate. It's a big thing. Being in Racine, we don't get to see our kids graduate from college."
Wilson says he doesn't have a favorite although as a youngster coming up he did have a favorite player and a favorite coach which drew him towards a couple of bitter rivals.
Jamil is definitely one of the top players in the country for his age.
If anyone has interest in seeing him play...in the Milwaukee area...his AAU team will be playing the State District Tourney this weekend in Waukesha.
