Title: How big would it be for MU if GTown loses to SHU tonight?

Does it move the magic number or anything?

Doesn't mean anything if we don't win tomorrow.

Crazy evening ! Mizzou crushed at home by KSU, Seton Hall beats Georgetown, and Binghamton finally wins one... vs their conference's leader, Vermont !

+ 1 billion

It seems that everything is falling in place for us ... so now I worry that we cough up a hairball against a team like Rutgers.

SHU spanks GTown by 18.  Huge win for the Pirates - first NCAA appearance in a long time, and since the BE expanded is now within reach and with the remaining schedule should happen.  And without that embarrassment Gonzalez at the helm it's possible root for them.

Georgetown - Notre Dame will be a key matchup.  If we can take care of business we need the Hoyas to win that one at their place.  If we can't run the table a Notre Dame win gives a pretty solid cushion on Georgetown.

USF now takes the 1/2 game lead on 4th place - at least until tomorrow night.

We are quickly running out of time to complete our recent annual tradition of losing a game we shouldn't to a Big East bottom feeder. In fact, tomorrow vs. Rutgers is our last chance!

2010-2011: Lost at home to St. Johns
2009-2010: Lost at Depaul
2008-2009: Lost at USF

Could be the first year Buzz survives the Big East schedule without a truly bad conference loss. Let's hope so!

St. Johns wasn't a bottom feeder last year...maybe Seton Hall for 2010-2011?

Seton Hall actually snuck into the Top 100 last year.  We got blitzed by them at the Pru though, so it definitely felt and looked like a bad loss.

By far our worst loss last year - not just in conference but overall - was on the road @SHU, a team ranked #59 by KenPom.  That wasn't even in the same stratosphere as the USF (#135) and DPU (#172) losses the two years prior.  Buzz already survived a Big East schedule without a truly bad conference loss just last year.
