Any reason why we would be lower than a 4 seed at this point in the season?
CNN:
No. 12 Marquette 79, Connecticut 64: [RECAP | BOX] Seniors Jae Crowder (29) and Darius Johnson-Odom combined for 53 points as Coach Buzz Williams team went into Hartford and came out with a Big East record of 11-3 and overall mark of 22-5.
The Golden Eagles are likely to end up with a tourney seed in the five to eight range.

Later on he said this about Cincy ...
But home games with Louisville (Thursday) and Marquette (March 3) can serve to bulk up that resume even more impressively.
Um ... we play Georgetown at home March 3.
Given he cannot get basic facts correct, no wonder he thinks we could be a 5 to 8 seed.
Chalk it up to another example of how the internet is killing print journalism and all that is left is thirdirate unpaid hacks writing incorrect stuff that few read.
Nah, it's just that we have that massive inferiority complex.
It will be tough to get higher than a five seed and here's why: that double header against Cincy and Georgetown on March 3 has me really concerned. I think MU could take either one of them under normal circumstances, but both on the same day will be tough, especially given that one game is in Milwaukee and the other is in Ohio. I think we lose both.

And don't forget ... according to an AP story yesterday, we only have 7 schloarship players (we actually have 11 with two hurt leaving 9).
I guess we'll have to forefeit on of the two March 3 games due to a lack of players.
They use split squads in spring training - we could do that!

So, if we're looking to win both which five do we send to Cincinnati and which five are staying home? I'm thinking Blue, DJO, the Wilsons, and Anderson stay home and we sent Crowder, Cadougan, Mayo, Gardner, and Jones to pick up the road win.
This thread gave me the biggest laugh of the day - thanks! :)
