Boatright's gang sign and trash talking T, not withstanding, is UCONN a team of trash? It sure seems so. I did not see it live, but at halftime of the Mizzou/A&M game, they showed the highlights and mentioned "words" after the game. Appeared that after the handshakes, there were some words. It will be interesting if more becomes said about this.
I took my dog for a post game victory walk and tuned into the radio feed. I caught the tail end of Mac talking about there should have been a flagrant foul on Mayo before the Boatright tech? Said Gottlieb caught it, but nobody else seemed to. Didn't see or hear anything more about it.

Mac was referencing a tweet which Gottlieb said... I happened to be following twitter during that timeout, and saw Gottlieb correct himself with another tweet: "sorry I meant technical on Boatright." I don't have DVR today, so can't say I saw anything on Mayo.

Yeah, I just watched the DVR of that part of the game. There wasn't anything that led up to it.

I don't understand these threads. UCONN fans could start the same one about an alley-oop we tried to run with 20 seconds left in the game and up double digits. What exactly is the goal with this type of thread?

Well, since I started it and you are calling me out (ironic, though, that YOU of all posters would call anyone out, but I digress), I will respond.
The title was merely the attraction. A teaser, a throw away comment, I admit. As I stated, ESPN was mentioning it at the half of the Mizzou/A&M game of words exchanged after the game. They showed a brief clip. I found it interesting and worth discussing. You and chico's did not. Fair enough.

Please, if you don't want an alley oop thrown in your face at the end of the game, play some defense and have some class during the game... If they were guarding Vander or Boatright wasn't running his mouth, i'm sure they wouldn't have attempted it.
Boatright was mouthing off the whole game, and got caught. We talk our trash through play (an alley oop), they scream in your ear after a timeout, I think there is a little difference there.
I do have to say that I did see a few times where both teams were seemingly laughing or joking around (saw Mayo and Oriakhi prior to an inbound play with smiles on their faces). Aside from Boatright, I don't have much of a problem with UCONN.

were classy, we'd see Boatwright sitting out the next game. Anyone notice that I'm assuming that won't happen?

I did too. That is why I was surprised that there was some type of "incident" that ESPN mentioned. I really didn't see anything between the two teams that would have resulted in words at the end of the game. I wonder if there was some chatter or talking that got out of hand during the game.

Blaney obviously is allowing his team to put blame for their poor performances on people other than themselves. Is it any wonder that their losing far more than they should?
When boat rite got the T mayo was stoically walking to the bench. After the timeout and during the free throws boat rite was still in the game and jacking his jaw in mayos face rite in front of the ref. ref never said a word ... Strange
just saw the espn highlight clip and mayo said something to him as they were walking off the court after the game had ended...boatright turned around and starting jawing as mayo kept walking.
i don't mind a little trash talking on the court...it's going to be fun to watch those two compete in the coming year(s).
woahhhh - didnt one of our players get called for a Tech against Louisville for unsportsmanlike behavior?
