Yeah, I hear that they have 3 million a year to offer to a top coach.  With things going like they are in Pittsburgh and UCLA, maybe they can get Dixon or Howland this time!

If you look at what Purnell has done at other schools, its clear it takes him a good three years to get a program together.

DePaul is showing plenty of flashes this year. They're improving vastly. That they can compete with a UL or Marquette shows that Purnell has turned them around 180° since he took over. They could be a NCAA team as soon as next year.

That said, I'm glad UL won. We need that as a top-50 win.

He's been a rebuilder everywhere he's gone.  I agree that he'll probably get the job done at DePaul, as well.  At least if Lenti-Ponsetto lets him, and doesn't take away his resources to push the women's team.
