I think Lousiville is a different team now than the one we played in early January. Blackshear is really good and certainly didn't play like a freshman in his first game against WV. Also, it appears Kuric is back and in good form. Once again, they seem to be peaking in February-March.
I think they will beat Cuse tonight at the YUM.

hope not
I have to admit there's a small part of me still believing Cuse loses to Louisville twice and @ UCONN and we win out. Boomshanker.
Need a Cuse win here. Pretty much locks us up for a bye

Yup. Got to root for Cuse and anyone else who plays UL, ND and Georgetown.
As good of a job as the title did at pronouncing Louisville, I just don't think there's any way to actually phonetically write down how they say it down there.

Definitely tricking myself into believing the same... meaning it's not gonna happen obviously. Pomeroy gives a 5% chance to Cuse for losing three more as well as us going undefeated so the chances are even lower that both will happen, but it could definitely come down to the last game of the season. Really hope that happens, the BC would be absolutely rockin' if for the Georgetown game if it did.

Agreed. :) I did my best. My mom was from there and I grew up hearing it with the exact pronunciation. There are no letters in the standard English language to express the way they say it.
Pains me to say it since I want a shot at winning the BEast, but go Cuse!
Though not impossible, it's unlikely Cuse will lose 3 of their next 5. However, I don't think it's nearly as unlikely that MU runs the table the rest of the way.
One of the best parts of conference season is that I no longer have to root for Louisville. I always root for our conference teams in non-conference games. I never root for Louisville in conference games. That is the one bad thing about Memphis joining the Big East. I will now have to root for them in non-conference games.
Long way to go in the game but whenever there a game where I clearly root for 1 team they never win. Cuse looks absolutly dreadful right now.
Their "white out" is impressive.
Not for nothin' but Pitino looks ridiculous.

Sure, but no one's standing! ;)
Ah, get to watch Burr. I enjoy watching him officiate ... when the game does NOT involve MU. You can tell he is officiating by the WTF reaction of the guy that got the benefit of the call. Today's gem would have even embarrassed an NBA official with the continuation call he just made.

+1
Chane Behanan has a double-double for Louieville, he really plays tough.
I can smell that double bye now.
Classic Siva on that last possession.
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that is what Pitino said to him after that play.
Virtual 3 game lead between us and #5. Gotta love it.

That kid is going to be the new UL pain in the butt. He is very talented and along with Blackshear.......
The d was good but not as good as the score would indicate. Send them both to the Big 10.
Good lord, ESPN just pointed out that Cuse was 1 for 29 outside the paint tonight!

That line will be repeated at least 160 more times before tomorrow's games.
Just saw the written recap and the highlights. The recap states CJ Fair hit the game winning shot. It fails to leave out that no one scored for the last 2+ minutes. wow.
It was better for us that 'Cuse won, and wins win luhvuhl goes to 'Cuse. Just gets us closer to that top 4 finish! Assuming USF doesn't keep it up 2-3 will get us that top 4!

I don't get this line of thinking. Wouldn't you rather have a shot at 1st than worry about holding down a top 4 spot?!?

Do you actually think we had a shot at first? If we won out, 'Cuse had to lose 2 games on top of that one.
A) I don't think we were going to win out
B) I don't think 'Cuse loses 2 more times with Rutgers, USF, @ Uconn, Lou

+1. Especially when you consider that a 5 seed that has won a game is probably more likely to beat the 4 seed than the other way around. I'll take a chance at regular season championship any day. Point is moot now, as the odds of us losing two less games than Syracuse from this point forward are too small to consider.

No, Cuse had to lose one more time on top of that one for MU to finish atop the BE. They would not get the #1 seed, but so what. They would get the tie for the Conference Championship.

They could still lose @UConn and get Louisville again -hope is alive! Would be so sweet winning the last BEast regular season in its glory state.
