That lines up about as nicely as possible for Marquette. While it's sure to change between now and MSG, that would be an outstanding draw for the Golden Eagles.
Seeing Villanova-Pitt as the 12-13 game is just jarring.
Assuming ND beats Rutgers at home Wednesday, we'll be knocked to #3 which would still be fine. (Hell, maybe better)! I wouldn't want to be in Georgetown's place at #4 though.
Besides cuse, the only team that i wouldn't want to face is a healthy louisville. Kuric was hurt when we beat them and now blackshear is back. If MU nabs the 2 or 3 seed we should avoid cuse, louisville, and georgetown until the championship.
That Georgetown bracket (as it currently stands) is mighty impressive from a historic perspective. I know Pitt and Villy aren't on their games in 2011-12 but in many years all four of those teams are real Final 4 threats.
Personally, I'd prefer Notre Dame's bracket as it currently sits. That said, being 2 or 3 will be key to advancing ultimately to Saturday night.
Right now Notre Dame's bracket would be awesome, and it would be even better if they were the 2 seed that we matched with as a 3.
I really want to just finish 3rd ahead of gtown. Give us ND again!!!

This would be freaking awesome.
And we all know ND can't shoot at MSG...
Salivating at a potential semifinal rematch with the Irish.
I would want ND simply because they would have played the night before and short bench might come into play this time around.
Right now, Pomeroy still has MU, ND and Georgetown with 5 losses at the end of the season, putting MU as the 4th seed.
ND's toughest 3 games left: @ Georgetown, @ Villanova, home to WV
Georgetown's toughest 2 games left: @ Seton Hall, @ MU
We could realistically root for ND to beat Georgetown, and then if things hold out play Georgetown at home on Senior Day to play for the 3 seed.
As for the double bye, Louisville would finish at 12-6, however we are essentially 2 games ahead, since we hold the tie-breaker. They have 4 losses, play Syracuse twice (including tonight) and at Cincy.
Senior day against GT will decide a lot. Personally #3 seed looks better than #2.
