Were there any recruits in attendance vs Cincy? I thought I read in another forum that we had a recruit coming but I couldn't find it.
I know Burton was forsure. Heard something about Wilson and Stone as well.

The post you probably read said 6'4" PG 2014 recruit JaQuan Lyle (who already has 6 offers including from OSU, IU, MSU, UI, Xavier, etc.) was going to be there. I am not sure if he was, but certainly was not a bad game to have any recruit at. Here are links to postings on this visit:

Apparently Lyle cancelled his visit...and others as well.

Growing up in a town with a D1 basketball team, we used to get in free to games if we were on the high school team. They had a list and would mark us off. When we were high school freshmen, we actually had to pay to go to the varsity high school games.

My sense is that he usually brings a friend or two. Seems to be a very nice, well grounded and polite guy. Certainly not looking to draw spotlight attention to himself. And proud of his high school as he always has his Vincent warmup on.

He was sitting across the aisle from us on Sat. Was into the game. Even made in on the big screen during a TO. Nice that the student's noticed and gave a loud yell out!
Lets not get to excited, he needs 2 years to work on his shot. Physically, reminds me of Jerone Maymon. He is Big East ready physically, has a much better
handle then Jerone and plays guard. But needs a lot of time in the gym shooting. Should take over for Vander and start at small forward in 3 years. Physically
much bigger than Vander right now.

He doesn't remind me of Maymon at all. Burton is a lean kid; not Juan lean but built a lot like Vander. I completely agree that he's a #3. Now I've never seen him play but . . .

He reminds of Maymon as when I watched him he was physically bigger than any other kid on the court. I think you better watch him as on TV he is much stronger
than anybody and not skinny at all. Difference Jerone had no handle compared to Burton, he could play point in the future, sees the court and likes to pass. Will fit
in perfect at MU.

Burton is nowhere near lean. He's built like a bull. Definitely a wider body than Vander.
Agreed. On Friday night's telecast vs. Riverside, color man Shannon Smith referred to Burton as "a man among boys". He is big like Paul Pierce, handles the ball well, and is quick and athletic.

Disagree completely, He's 230lbs as a high school junior. I agree he is a 3, but he's a monster, nothing like Vander.
He does have a little Maymon to his physique, but he is much more well rounded and has a ton more lift.

Burton will be a great fit at MU. Even though I bad mouthed Maymon, would like to have him back now as
you can see his rebounding skills and his HUSTLE. Not that bad of a shot.
Well, watching him on film he does look pretty sturdy. I concede. Anyway, seems like a helluva 'get' for MU.
I think he is closer to a Maymon than he is to a Blue at this point. I think he is more explosive than Maymon and a better ball handler and distributer, but a lot of his points also come from being bigger and stronger down low than a lot of guys. He is a man on the boards and a strong finisher. The main difference between the two from what I have seen is the work ethic and attitude. It seemed to me like Maymon expected things to be handed to him, while Burton seems to work his butt off every day and know he needs to work to get what he wants.
He has a DWade kind of body. Can't imagine what he's going to look like once they get him into a weight room.
But, but Maymon was a "2" At least that's what his dad said. ::)
