for the rest of the season. Besides DG ain't ready to contribute. Few teams can match MU's bust out and intensity on D. I say strap it on and let's go, racehorse speed.

Did you really just say that OX isnt ready to contribute? Wow.

Some dudes are figurin' he's back for UConn. Doubt it. Even so, up tempo, race horse hoops is better than the half court game he'll contribute to.
He's hurt, right? Can't contribute in street clothes.

Does Ox strike you as someone ready to hit the ground running (literally) after 2-2 1/2 weeks off? If he was one of our faster, fitter players to begin with, then maybe. I agree with 4ever.
Start Jamil. Bring DG in as needed.
Ox should get some playing time as soon as he is ready, but i also think he needs to transition back in. No one plays well the first few games after an injury, so give him some time to get his game back.

Did you really just say 'MU's bust out intensity'? Maybe I'm making a bad assumption about what you mean, but today's 16-4 deficit again shows that MU does not bust out.
Fortunately, MU gets to racehorse speed early enough.

"MU's bust out intensity" isn't the same as "beginning of game bust out intensity". It's more like coming out of the funk bust out intensity. Similar to what 4ever goes through at 5:00 pm most days.
Thank you, my brother. What I typed was "bust out," as in fast break. Intensity was linked to defense. Has nothin' to do with the start of the game. I thought you cats were fluent in hoops.

DG will slow them down. BTW, anyone notice Buzz chewing at DG during second half of game. I wonder if he was blasting him for not getting off his ass to cheer on his teammates.

Misunderstood you. I thought you meant he isnt ready to contribute in general even when healthy. I do think we need him for Uconn but I agree keep this lineup at the start.

No, something happened when Jamil Wilson was taken out after the foul late in the game. I think Devante said or did something and Wilson laughed. As he walked by Buzz, Buzz yelled "that's not funny". Then he went to Devante and chewed on him a bit.
The full court press and up tempo pace was extremely effective today. But that will not always be the case. Gardner gives us another dimension that we simply do not have without him. Same for Otule. We still need DG back as soon as possible.

Agreed. Adding Devante allows MU to play different styles and change the pace.

Nope, not really fluent in hoops, just in basketball.
