Whole team was great but his two 3-pointers turned the game around.
No way, it was DJO,JC and JWill
6th man of the game though
I'm just happy to see him hit those shots. Will do wonders for his confidence. We're better off if he can give us 10-15 solid minutes a game.
Not SOTG....but it was nice to see a glimmer of him getting it. Defensively still had some issues though.
Not for SOTG, but hope it helps his confidence.
No SOTG, but so good to see. And he looked like he expected them both to go in. Then he tried the heat check turnaround. Baby steps, JJones, baby steps.
If he can give us six solid minutes a night it would be a huge help.
So happy to see Mellow hit a couple J's, big for the confidence, Vander also looks alot more comfortable.....now need Todd to hit a J again
Announcers continue to confuse Mayo and Blue.... ::)
Wouldn't this be a good convo for the SOTG thread?
Anyways, good to see he hit those but 2 plays don't get you SOTG

I know, but I just wanted to throw his name into the conversation for SOTG. Those were HUGE shots to change the momentum.
Yea, I think we were winning when he made those threes, but they gave us a nice cushion that we never really gave back. Good to see him hit the 3 with confidence. He's been posting up a lot and has looked confident when he's gotten the ball down low. He hasn't finished, but he doesn't look overwhelmed when he gets it. I'm sure he will start finishing those off.
He's someone I really root for. He seems like a great teammate and is always into the game and the first one off the bench to meet the team. He has a lot of talent and I hope this is the start of him breaking out.

I agree with this and I watch him closely when he comes in. But other than hit those threes, which were great, he was really not too helpful today. Pretty bad on D. Did have a great assist to Crowder, though.
He may have been bad on D but he was giving up 4 inches.

There was one possession where he was guarding the ball and just ran away to guard someone else and let the guy go in for an easy shot. He still seems to be out of position a lot on defense. I still think just playing is the best cure for that and he's talented enough that he is going to be a valuable player for us.

It wasn't the height. He does not play D with his feet. Out of position. Get's beat on the dribble and then reaches/grabs and get's a cheap foul.
But, it was really nice to see him hit those 3's. Hopefully that does give him the confidence he needs. I agree with a prior poster, if he can start doing that, MU will be all the better.
