Who do we want to win?
Is the conference title still in reach, or do we want to solidify 2nd place?
Looking at both of their upcoming schedules, I'd think they were both favored in just about all the games from here through end of season. So I'd vote for Syracuse to win tonight so we can shore up second place.
Absolutely, particularly when we can somewhat control our own destiny with the home game 3/3

When you say "absolutely" I assume you're agreeing that SU should win. Is that right? But, my thinking says since we "control our own destiny" then why not 'let' G'town win and stay with us, while also getting us closer to 1st place, then we REALLY control our own destiny, in more ways than one.
In my opinion, we will lose a couple more games this year. Being more optomistic, let's say we just lose one more.
That still puts us at four Big East losses. Do you really see 'Cuse losing 3+ more times?
In other words, I want Syracuse to win tonight and Georgetown to get the loss. Getting second place would be awesome. While some posters have expressed that 2-4 place means the same, I personally would love it if we got second. Finishing second place in the Big East would absolutely catch the eye of the selection committee, even if the conference is down this year.
The most likely view (85%+) is that Syracuse finishes with 15 wins or more in conference play. It would take a minor miracle to catch them.
Right now, Georgetown is a slight favorite to finish with a better record than us.
go Cuse
Screw SyrACCuse.
