Firstrowsports.tv seized by government. Well that sucks...pretty much the best site ever for finding all games we couldn't see on t.v.

I think there is some correlation to this and Tom Brady my roommate was whining about it the other day. I think he announced he watched the game on this site or something.

there is no reason, given today's technology, that the ND game shouldn't be made available to those of us who are willing to pay for it but live somewhere where it isn't being shown on cbs. cbs, who has the rights to the game, is living in the pre-internet, dark ages. the whole, model for sports broadcasting needs to be changed when a significant portion of the fan-base is not able to watch the game. until the model changes, they should just let this stuff go.
at the risk of getting political, why the government is aiding a behind-the-times network is beyond me. the feds should just butt out of this.

The blame lies on CBS for not offering their product in an alternative format. Not the government for punishing those who are stealing someone's product.

CBS may actually be streaming it in locations where it is not playing on their network. We will have to wait until game time to see.
If true, I will take back what I said about them living in the pre-internet age.
Regarding government enforcing property rights, my view is that the role of the government such cases should be to provide civil courts so the aggrieved party can be remedied. I am not sure this is what happened in this case. It looks a bit heavy handed. I mean the department of homeland security is involved, sheesh.

Right, they seized the .tv/.com domain but obviously can't take the European domain now which is what I mentioned in my first post.
