But... Two first round passes to MSG...so does that mean the lucky winners might not get to even get to watch Marquette play if they have a first round bye?

Agreed, the first round would be the 9-16 seeds playing. That's not a very helpful ticket package to actually see the team play.
Looks like they updated the prize to tickets to all the sessions - that's much better.
