Talking about his knee...
....and he's not happy.
Fact that he finished today is comforting. Probably stiff and jammed.
Sure it's not a fin?
He didn't play again after getting injured, did he?
I thought he did...I thought he was in at the end.
He did play again after he hurt himself.
What did he tweet say?
He actually came back in immediately. I didn't think he could because I thought it was an injury timeout for him.
was he just mad about the no call? He was hit in the back and head, but honestly when the refs see a clean block on the ball it seems they often miss the body contact below.

Just said something about "Ugh", and "hating this"...very ambiguous. But, as bama just posted, maybe referring to the no-call?

It wasn't in injury timeout .. Nova tossed the ball toward MU's goal, no one was there to catch it, OOB.
I lean towards those being comments about his knee and not the no-call.

It was the under 4 minute TO.

Looks like his knee is bothering him. Probably a bad bruise - can get back in there after hurting it but it gets more painful later and can take a couple days to feel better. Wouldn't be surprised if he's limited in practice this week.
On another note from his Twitter, nice to see Devante's family was able to come up to Philly and spend some time with him last night.
I don't think it was the under 4 timeout but they had to stop the game to fix the net.
Just saw highlights from the game, he was still in the game during the last minute. He probably jammed his knee and its stiffened up some since the game.

You are correct, my bad. I knew it was not an injury TO, but an officials TO and forgot about the net.
Speaking of the net, was anybody else worried a game winning shot was going to go through the rim and come back out somehow with that piece of net out?
No

Dumbest QOTY?
That grabbing of the net may have save Davante's BBall career.
Hopefully we get good news soon.
I am sure it is very sore....and he will not be gone long.
But I do not want him back until his knee is healed.

You sir, have one
VIVID imagination.
Sure hope to get some good news on that knee. He went back in, but wasn't putting much weight on that leg.
New theory...He saw his family for a brief period of time, and then he had to leave. Now he's back here and missing them. He's still a 19/20 year old kid very far from home. Can't always expect these guys to be superman

In the early days of basketball, yes. In this era, impossible. Once it goes past the rim, it is a basket - no matter if it pops back out or not.
Why didn't they just replace the net? It takes about two minutes to put up a new net.

I was surprised by that, as well. Seemed odd. I would guess there is an extra net somewhere. Maybe it would have taken to long to get it and replace the bad one.
