Isn't MU a Nike client. It would have been nice to at least been invited to participate and wear once.
MU could have refused which I'm fine with....or we aren't hyper material
These uniforms are BARF BARF BARF. Glad we're not wearing any of those gray monstrosities.
Wouldve looked SICK with the sides. Not surprised were left out of something like this, again.
Article says that they are using schools that won a title wearing Nike. So I guess we will have to wait until we are invited next year. 8-)

+1
The shoes perfectly matching the uniform's accent color are especially craptastic.
These are pretty awful:

Took me a minute to figure out "Zona". Initially thought of Gonazaga.
Those are some of the worst uniforms I've ever seen.
I will gladly support our team wearing crap-ugly uniforms after we win our next championship.
Platinum?
Apparently i never knew what platinum was? WTF is that? ::)

I think the Zona unis look great. My cousin is the AD there and they absolutely love em.
those things are pretty hideous. They are especially hideous put up next to the perfection that are our Valour Blues.
And once again, I am reminded that we are not Nike's target audience. My 15-year old son absolutely loves them...and Oregon's frequent abominations on the football field.
I think they're cool--to wear one time. I'd hate to have to go through a whole season in them, though.
What is with making everything drab and gray? Nike has run out of ideas, apparently.

They're Platinum, They're Platinum.
I was wondering what a gray MU jersey would look like so....

... I actually really like it.
Pink for coaches-vs-cancer, not so much...

anyone else think that the "Marquette" across the chest would look good in Cursive? Kind of like the Memphis throwbacks? Lots of teams used to have their names in cursive, more like Baseball uniforms... The bulls, Michigan State, think they look pretty cool and would be nice on our jerseys...

If it looked like this, no.

Speaking of throwbacks, how awesome would it be if we rocked some Al-era uniforms? DJO in the "bumblebee"? Fabulous!
it would be sweet. I do know that type of uniform (horizontal stripes across the front of the jersey) is now banned. However, I have to believe it would be possible to get a one game waiver if we wanted to do something like this for a special occasion. Detroit got a waiver earlier this year to wear untucked jerseys, which are also banned.

The current uni's are a throwback from the Al-era. Circa 1974.
As to the bumblebee, unfortunately the NCAA has banned that style. I would love to see it, though.

Well, not exactly. Weren't those more of a turquoise?

That does look pretty sweet. Fits our color scheme well.
On most teams I don't like the gray, but I like it with these jerseys.

I have an early 80's sweatshirt with Marquette in cursive. I think it would look really awesome on a jersey.

yes, i like it with the cursive. something about the block Marquette with the different font #s looks odd on the current uni's... i know it's supposed to look like the 70's font, but i'd love to see the cursive on the baby blues...

Maybe your color choice is a little too lavender, no? Can you render a little pinker pink perhaps?

I'm with you on the dislike of the baby blues font...
The "Q" looks like Cartman's package...

I think it would look a lot better if you substituted pink for all of the yellow in the jersey...since the pink and yellow clash. And use a lighter shade of pink so it's just navy, light blue, pink and white.
I also like the gray version, but I bet it would look even better if it were more of a silver rather than the dark gray.
These Duke uniforms are awful. Can't see the numbers at all and I just don't think it looks good on their court.
