Title: USF newspaper game day article
Post by: real chili 83 on January 24, 2012, 06:33:00 AM
According to this article, the Bulls have plenty of incentive for this game.

First, is to avenge last year's loss by one point, at home.  They had us down by 16 at one point (sound familiar?).

They are having their best BE season ever, and view this as a real chance to take over third place.

We can't take this game lightly.

If the Bulls play at the level/quality of the writing/grammar in the USF article, the Warriors should destroy them.

If that is the standard, we should be evenly matched, based on the quality of the editorial about the basketball team last week.   ;D

Wow I can barely read this.  At least the MUTrib piece used proper grammar in their flawed logic.

Noted. Instead of working today, I will be focused on how to stop Poland and Gilchirst and how to box out Fitzpatrick.

I think we all know how to stop Poland.  Put USF in a round locker room and tell him to sit in the corner.

This game is incredibly important for many reasons. Another test of their mettle.

There is not a game left on the schedule that can be taken lightly.

Not even the NCAA 1st Round match-up with the 15-seed?  ;)

Especially not them! That's how you become the answer to an embarrassing trivia question.

Agree. Bad news is that there are no "gimmies". Good news is there are no automatic losses.

Agreed.  However, it would be a disappointment should MU lose more than four of the remaining eleven games.

Personally, I am optimistic for 8-3.

Not many remember the #2's that lost... most only remember who the 15's were.

The first #1 to lose, however... that's a different story, and who I don't want to be.  I would take a loss as #2 if it meant a Big East Tourney Championship that included utterly embarrassing, bubble-bursting losses by Syracuse, Louisville & Notre Dame to MU.

Forget the grammar, at least now I know where to finally get my 2010 Halloween costume.

Buzz and team took care of business.  Happy to eat my words from the earlier post!   ;D

Now, lets go kick the livin' piss out of the Mildcats on Saturday.
