Title: Inbounds play?
Post by: denverMU on January 16, 2012, 03:26:08 PM
We have got to have the absolute worst inbounds play in all of college basketball. We never score off of it.  I guess maybe 40% of the time we turn it over or get trapped in the corner.  I would prefer if we just threw it back court at least it would not be a turnover.

Our inbounds defense, when the opposition is throwing it in from under their own basket, is abysmal as well.

Buzz's "special teams"...inbound plays and end-of-clock scenarios, are something the team supposedly spends a lot of time in practice on but nevertheless seem to be a weak point for the team.

I was saying this today as well, havent seen a good inbounds play in a long time. In addition we had a play last game late in  the shot clock after a timeout that resulted in a jae crowder fadeaway three pointer

Junior throwing the ball in under the basket with a Lville big guarding the baseline and feet having to stand still???  Why him?
Every single time we lob the ball into Crowder - turns into a jump ball.  I don't get it.
