but what did you guys think of the "big lineup"? It wasnt used for a long time but most people thought it would never due to the problems foul trouble could cause. I really think it could help tomorrow vs a UL team that plays a lot of guards as long as Mayo or Junior can break the press. Getting Jamil out as the 3 will extend UL more and possibly create more space for Davante to attack Dieng.
Just wondering how everyone else felt about the small dose of it and if we might go back to it tomorrow.
It can work in spurts, but UL won't be good for it. Slow on rotations will get us torched tron the arc.
Get Dieng in foul trouble, break the press and win the turnover battle.
I think we will only see the big lineup if crowder, gardner, and wilson are all out of foul trouble in the second half. Buzz wont risk it in the first.
Would be more fitting for UConn but not UL. Siva's too fast and would blow right by all three of them.
True, that it would leave them open a bit but with our tendacy to be stagnant for stretches on offense this might be our best chance to knock them on their heels a little. Buzz also really likes Jamil's help D so it's possible.
Agree though that Davante getting dieng in foul trouble and limiting TO's against the press(regardless of our lineups) are the keys.
Uconn would probably be a better fit like you said but Siva and Kuric(if he plays) are have bad ankles right now so you never know.
