Good god, were stuck with Laphonso Ellis again. He was a pain in the arse during the Gtown game.
there's Jr's jump pass again.
Ticky tac fouls on Crowder early yet again. Why is he such a target for refs?
Also can the announcers start getting names right?

Get ready for another high five controversy with Crowder dissing Cadougan.
Yup, Junior two turnovers. Yup, Crowder again two quick fouls and he sits, probably for half.
Vander on Harkless is going to be interesting.
what is Jae's use on this team against any team half decent?

I wouldn't call them ticky tack, I'd call them stupid. He was out of position and there was no need for him to commit them.
Expected a bit more urgency after the road trip.
He's a target for refs because he is always showing them up by whining about EVERY call
We seriously suck
One positive of the stupid fouls is maybe now Buzz goes to the zone against one of the worst jump shooting teams in the United States.
Is it me or have we had a bad habit for committing charges here lately? 2 in less than 5 minutes.
SJ playing zone. No outside shots made. DJO is non existent again.
Now DJO out. Bring on Jamail Jones and Anderson and the rest of the second team. This should be fun to watch.

Make that two
Simply embarassing. Get Jamail off the floor.

Yep.
Harrison has been playing like the major prospect we knew we missed out on.
We need more than two scorers in at a time. Right now we have a half of a scorer in.
Too bad Buzz crapped out with Harrison and GGA
St. John's better get tired. They have better athletes than we do.
Nice shots there by Blue, Jones, Wilson and Junior. All bad misses.
Then the Harrison kid MU was in on hits two bombs.
9 minute mark and no outside shots made.
Whoops, Wilson has 2 fouls now.
12 points in eleven minutes, come on boys.....
How in the world did St Johns end up with the two most ridiculous names in all of college basketball on the same team?
That was a nice cough...pass...cough by DJO to DG
How did Crowder become such a horrible shooter?
Our guards are among the worst on-ball defenders in the BE. Why would we press 30 feet away when all it takes is one burst of speed to get a layup?

Yep, but I would say its more about size...that and their players know how to make a basket

Not only that. Why is Juan the point on a press? Slow-a-foot is he.

When was he really good? The first ten games of last year? I never expect him to make it anymore.
That certainly looked like Jae going strong to the bucket for those who call him soft.
Buzz's sportcoat is giving me a headache.
SJs athletes are much better and only freshmen. They are so long and fast,if they don't tire, we're in trouble the way we play.
We have two scorers...both seniors...and they both pick up their second fouls by playing lazy ass defense. They need to be smarter.
This is painful to watch.
Lets pass it around the zone for 28 seconds, then drive and commit a charging foul. That will work.
Way to play against the zone MU.
Anderson, Blue and D Wilson on the floor, who scores????
DJO, Jae, Jamil all have two fouls...and we are within two. Buzz is gambling that it can be kept close in the first half, so they can go full bore in the second. And he's about three minutes from being able to do that. Davante is saving us right now.
we charge everytime we get the ball
MU looks tentative and hesitant.
No way that was a charge on VB, NO WAY! >:(

Got that right and Junior has 2.
Why did St. John's have the Al Mcguire Court shipped to Queens for the game? Oh that's right, we're at home but don't have any homecourt advantage.
Our offense is terrible . We are getting beat by freshmen. We stand around on offense and hesistate and then someone drives late in the clock. Awful to watch and we have twice as many fouls.
They are quicker (and smarter) than us at every position right now..
Gardner has over a third of our points!

This looks like a replica of UConn-WVU. Huskies were lethargic coming off two losses as well. They squeaked a win.

He will need an IV, oxygen, gatorade and a nap at halftime.
Without him, not even close game.
I don't understand why every team doesn't zone us.
What will we be ranked next week?
Actually I think we are going to be fine. Terrible foul trouble meant too many bench minutes. I bet we win in the 8-10 pt range.
The charges are bogus other than Anderson's

More teams are starting to. It's hard to hide how bad we are against it.
Davante should eat two of the other guys on the team for fuel here at halftime(dont care which two to be honest). That would be the best contribution anyones made anyways
DJO and Crowder had better show up in the second. Someone should kill the power, we could use a delay to let Gardner rest up. Carrying 270 of his own weight plus the entire team on his back has to be tiring.
whats the line on this game?
Why can't anyone on our team hit a mid-range shot. DJO fades away on a ten footer. The only guy who knows how to dink and dunk are DG and maybe Mayo.
Here's a stat on 3 point shooting:
Cuse game: 6 for 26 23%
Tonight: 1 for 7 14%
Total: 7 for 33 21%
Time to step it up boys.......Especially against the zone.
Is it me, or is Gardner staying productive longer in each successive game?
Want more bad news?........Pitt being controlled at home right now by Rutgers.
That team comes in 0-4 on the weekend and could blast MU like Vandy.

Let's see how the second half goes, but yeah... He's STOG if we win no matter how the second half goes.
Buzz needs to stop having DG hedge on ball screens... He can't keep up, Buzz needs to adjust here in the second half.
The only way for us to win is better ball movement and to take more shots.
DJO and Crowder are not living up to the hype.
Pressure is building and those two are shrinking.
Well you're down 1 and haven't got anything from your two best guys. That would be positive for MU.
MU moving the ball well against the zone but seems no one can pull the trigger from perimeter. I think MU's defense is playing pretty poorly especially in transition.
Well onto the 2nd half
On tv there seems to be lots of empty seats.

The crowd blows. Need to create energy to lift a team clearly lacking confidence.
Picking it up a bit. DJO with his 3rd foul and Harrison has 4.
Gardner is a BEAST
Crowder doesn't want to unnatural carnal knowledge with Driscoll. Notorious ego with short temper.
DJO nuttin up here
Game changed when Harrison went to bench. Need to keep it up until Harrison returns.
DJO finally taking over a game. Very nice.
How much better would we be with God's Gift and Gardner? Man, I thought he was ours for awhile.
(Not fact checking so sorry if it was an either/or/limited roster, where we wouldn't of had both)
MU much better in second half, but are we gonna get any easy games in the Beast this year? Man I wish our frosh could
play like they do.

Good second half to see. Sped up the Johnnies. Capitalize on TOs.
Going to see a wounded Pitt team on Saturday so this is an encouraging half so far.
Going for triple turkey?
It's amazing when all the eeyores on this board disappear when things are going well.

Pitt coming in on 5 game losing streak is scary.
Junior hurt his right hand on his breakaway drive that was stuffed. He looked as if finger was pointing in wrong direction. Ugh....
I don't have those bars, its a full screen. Where is JWill in this game, he should thrive in an open court second half.
That's a shame
Wasn't there a thread about why we love gardner?
I'm calling it.....The Gardner Game!!!!!!
Holy crap...Davante's got 20/11!!!!
Chris O'who? ;D
Beast mode for Devante. If a team doesn't have good overall size he's tough to stop and getting better.
I'd say DG is playing his way into shape!

Pitt getting slammed at home. Really got to become a team on the upswing and rack up wins against the teams that have lost it lately.
Just wore down SJU in the second-got Harrison out, did a good job of avoiding the foul trouble and unleashing the pent up energy that sat much of the first.
What a great second half. I can say I'm pleased for the first time in a week. Go Marquette.
They just had no answer for DG. Not sure where God'sgift disappeared to, he was all over the paint in the first half.
Gardner stretches of playing getting longer and longer as season goes on. Weight loss really paying off
Can we give buzz a little cred for a good job with the game management? When DJO had to hit the bench, we got down by 6 and the game was getting out of hand. Buzz went back to the starting line up for about three possessions to get the game back in balance and let the bench ride to half about tied. I thought that was a smart line up management.

Agree completely. Had to bring them back to keep in close. And none of them picked up their third.

Pitt won't put up 40 tonight. Really stifled on offense.
Hoping Warriors can roll this second half into a great opening 10 minutes on Saturday. Could knock a lifeless group down early.
Jae one rebound away from double/double too.
Anyone know how many minutes DG got total? I agree that it seems like he has been playing more and more.

After losing at home to Rutgers by more than 20, and losing to DePaul, Pitt might be the last place BE team.
When he is gassed, he short strokes his ft's. Didn't see that tonight.

DERP.
