Gardner on the tip off?
Cuse first possession should have been a TO. Either jump ball or travel. Higgins swallows his whistle. Then on the other end, a really cheap offensive foul call. MU needs to be aware of the way they call the game.
The bad DJO thus far offensively. Need him to really start to take over offensively.
We are way too sloppy right now. Lazy passes.
Cadougan with another turnover off a bad pass.
Three straight ugly turnovers in a row. Junior better step it up.
Fair, Waiters, Keita off bench, man Cuse has some players.
Hahahaha.........six turnovers.
Gardner has most of our points
Buzz looks like he's gotta fart.

Seven, oh make that eight
Steve jobs won't let me!!!
Blue has 3 TOs. I think he will end with about 6.
Fab melo is absolute trash
This is ridiculous
Ok, we got that out of our system.......
I have never a 7 footer flop so much
Hahaha...Odom clearly in the game.
Shocking it's only an six deficit with all going badly.

Yep...keep him on the bench...out of control..and offers zero offense against top competition...if he's gonna turn it over there is virtually no value he brings at this point.
2 fouls on Gardner.
Like 4 offensive rebounds in one possession
DJO misses dunk
Crowder offensive foul, MU with 4????
5 field goals and 9 turnovers
Oh man....
Oh man......
Can't beat the #1 team at their place with turning it over at this rate or missing easy buckets (DJO missed dunk). Lets just keep driving right into the defenders.
Does Crowder seem to have no interest in guarding anyone this season?
Two awful charges called on Gardner. I can't believe Melo gets those calls. Must be Carrier Dome magic.
Feels like Cuse should be up by a lot more. Gotta keep battling.
So frustrating to watch.
For as bad as we are playing, this is in reach.....so far.
How many careless turnovers and charges does this team have to commit before they learn?
We're dodging bullets right now. Cuse missing possible transitional points and TOs.
Turning point so far was Vander's pass leading to 5 point swing (we had cut the lead to one) and DJO missing the dunk, which could have swung momentum (luckily they missed their following opportunity).
Melo so far is playing under control. Our guys drive hard to the basket and they're setting up the charges to take them.
Horrendous defensive coach

Who do you want in there? Cadougan, DWil and Jones can't score either. Mayo can't play 40 minutes.
Six minutes without scoring again. More turnovers than field goals. And it is still reasonably close.
5 FGs...9 TOs. Outside of Gardner, not much to be positive about at all.
This team keeps proving they have a low ball iq.
Fun watchin' a good team.

Another game that's over early...
Eight and a half minutes without scoring. MU has 12 points and Cuse up 14.
This continues, they win by 35.

Yeah. And since it seems it's over several years now maybe we have a low IQ coach
Haven't scored since DJO's "dunk"
Not today, MU fans, not today.

Getting spanked is bad enough, but Dickey Simpkins announcing takes away any watchability.

That's about right, last 20 of Georgetown and first 20 of Syracuse we have been outscored by 36.
Time to start drinking heavily. If we aren't making open shoots, we have no shot.
Blue just can't shoot or finish. One dimensional player. 10 TOs. SU is so much bigger and longer. Not much of a game so far.
We have no offense against good teams. Shot clock violation out of a TO.
Really like the work the staff put in on Vanders shot.
This is a waste of electricity.
Last basket at 13:26. 10 minutes, yes 10 minutes.
Vander missed 4 free throws. Terrible

2nd highest scoring team in the Big East?
Marquette the last couple years has been known for playing hard and out hustling the other teams. Lately we are lazy and dumb.
13:31 without a bucket. Yeah defense is the problem.
I hope there are no recruits watching.
Almost as many TOs as points. I guess Buzz can stop bragging about how the team rarely practices offense cause it shows. But it doesn't look like they practice defense either.
At the end of the day, this whole crap falls on DJO and Jae. When the heat turns up, the whole team looks lost and no one steps up to make a play.

But he does something that no one on the team (other than Jae) will do: take it strong AT the D.
The rest, esp. DJO, want it to look "pretty". F- it, cram it down, and get to the line.
Now, making the FTs are another thing for him.
Huge ?s are on this team. Two of them are:
- Where did Junior's offensive confidence go?
- When is Jamil going to play like the AA recruit he was?
- How is this team going to perform next year when Jae and DJO are gone?
Every single one of our players plays defense with their arms and hands at their sides. Whats the deal with that?

We know DJO disappears, so really it falls on Jae, who has been more of a senior leader than DJO.
Maybe get ready for next year and start these guys for the second half:
D. Wilson (no Junior)
Mayo
Anderson
J. Wilson
Gardner

All of our averages have been trending down. We're not even competing. JW looks lost out there. At least take some shots.

DJO is 2 for 10 from field. He heats up and who knows.
Another Crowder miss 3 and DJO I don't know what, which leads to Cuse 3 and Gardner's 4th.
Those two have to turn it up now.
The Crowder/Triche/Odom exchange was pivotal.
Not only do their big players block our shots but now so does the bottom of the rim. Who voted for DJO as all conference? He should watch tape on other teams' stars and see that they actually hit shots and carry their teams.
Oddly, although Junior is not the quickest guy on the team and he is the only guy who can drive against this defense.

Just playing with our emotions.
This team will choke again.
Crowder miss 3
Mayo miss 3
Junior turnover
Three straight bad possessions
Back up 11.
What could have been.
MU is 1 for 11 from threes. 9%
It seems like our seniors are the ones making all the bad mistakes.
You really appreciate what Lazar and Jimmy brought to this team when you see this year's seniors.

EDIT: typed as they each made a key play
Not sure how that isn't intentional.
How do you say, "intentional elbow" in Portuguese?
"Fab Melo."
That should be a flagrant for sure. Total cheap shot
This will be a big call here
Grab the ball big guy.
Gosh, missed FT might be what does us in.
Holy crap. Junior hits a 3, yet DJO and Crowder cant hit a wall.
MU will need Wilson back with Gardner and 4 fouls
This half is a little more fun to watch than the first. They are playing harder and smarter (minus DJO). Hope he comes out of this funk.
Good job by refs on Melo elbow.
MU gotta take this punch and return fire.
Come on Vander, missed three and a layup in a five point game.
Jr must have slid 3 ft to pick up that one.
Blue kills me. He needs finish.
Key rebound by blue.
You know I will give them all the credit in the world for this second half comeback, but these misses from 3 are just killing them.
DJO is 0 for 6 and Crowder is 0 for 4. Thats 0 for 10.
I just cant take watching Vander on the offensive end any more. I would honestly rather see Juan out there just to see what he can bring. He cant be any worse on the offensive end and with his athleticism might bring some of the same defensive intensity
Gosh. If DJO and Jae can catch fire, we can do this.

I don't quibble with any of Mayo's shots. Just too bad he's off by an inch.
Free throws the difference. Do they ever miss. MU is 13 for 21.
ND to OT with Lou.
Cadougan's pass to Blue was great.

Cuse is now my most hated team in the BEAST....until the next game we play, then that team will become my most hated....
Is a full 40 minutes too much to ask for? Even when we cut the lead to 2, our guys were still pretty slow getting up and down the floor. It's so frustrating to see them get so close and not be able to finish games
Just read the stats sheet if you can. TOs, FG%, rebounds both ends, 3s missed, fouls, missed fts.
To be honest, I am just glad we didn't embarrass ourselves. After that first half, I thought it was going to be just embarrassing, but we came back and although we lost, it was competitive. Anytime we are competitive against the number one team, I think we are doing well. It sucks because this is following Georgetown, Vandy, and LSU, but still. We are going to win quite a few more games and we will be ranked again.
Let's not make a 7-point loss against the number one team in the country a Chicken Little moment.
