Jae actually missed 2 gimmes. They wide-open one in the halfcourt set and the other after the steal from the rebounder. I mentioned in another thread that after Crowder missed the second one, I texted my friend: "Gtown wins by 3." Always being right is sometimes a curse.
I'm yelling at the TV, and my daughter, who I coached for 4 years, walks in and asks "so, did someone miss a lay up or a free throw?" That was one of the things I harped on coaching her as well as the boys' team for her class, was that if you make layups and free throws you win the game.

No, it's totally the timeout called midway through the second half, and lack of high fiving.

I actually think the high-fiving was one of the positives from last night. Buzz must have really stressed that in practice.
Wilson is looking over his shoulder, waiting to have it blocked, instead of going up strong. He seems timid!
Nay, the lack of offense by Vander and the lack of defense by Todd renders MU a less one player on both ends.
Vander D's + Todd's O = ideal 2/3
It's not as easy as saying we left 6 points on the floor because when we start to lose a big lead and teams start thinking they have a shot it's over. Hate to be a doubter but we gave gtown no contested shots and consistently have big blow up spurts in games, win or lose.

Plus I'm sure Gtown missed some bunnies too since they didn't shoot 100% in the 2nd half and they didn't get anything but wide open easy shots in the second half.
Wilson also missed a front end of a bonus when we were up 9. Wilson is giving a lot of effort, but things are not falling for him. Same thing against Villanova. It is a learning expereince for him. The same for Mayo who did some really positive things last night, but then tried to do to much as the game was melting down.
Just ask F*ckin' anything you need to know about "blown bunnies."
Jamil is soft as can be...remind me of Merritt smh

A 6'7" wing player reminds you of a 6'11" post player? Yeah, that LeBron James, he really reminds me of Shaquille O'Neal.
ASTUTE ANALYSIS.
