Near the end of the first half. Jumping jacks, karate kicks, electric slide out to mid-court. Thought that would be on someone's highlight reel!
Yeah, saw that .. would be priceless video.
Based on that, Buzz could clearly out-jump Davante on an opening tip.

True that. Buzz has thinned down a TON. Saw him at the Pius vs. Vincent game last week and he was wearing a sweater...much thinner than he even looks with a suit on.
Buzz was well onto the court trying to get Burr's attention and should have been T'd up (as Wright was arguing for). Earlier, Wright also was trying to get a time out as well on a loose ball scramble and he was riding the refs well after for not seeing him. Easy joke in there about Burr being deaf, blind and dumb (the 5 minute conference on a blocking call which I actually agreed with his call to reverse it...just don't know why it took so long). ;D
In all seriousness, I thought the crew called a fairly consistent game. They allowed body bumping on defense, but MU was caught too many times trying to play defense with their hands unlike Nova's technique out front. Also, Burr and crew always let the low body fouls go (bumping), but will call anything up on the shot. The one pet peeve I had was Yarou and Nova's other bigs should have been called for at least ten three second violations. They just set up camp in the lane and never left.
I'd rather the refs let all the ticky-tack stuff, 30 feet away from the basket go .. then call 'em on the contact during shooting. This, last night's crew did not do -- perhaps both ways, but still. Plenty of no-calls, even in a 40+ PF game.
I thought the refs sucked yesterday. They were outdone though by the 3 blind mice who reffed the Indiana OSU game. With decent refs, OSU wins that game by 20. The NCAA needs to do something, far too often, the refs insert themselves into the game and as a result they decide the outcome instead of the players. I hate NBA basketball, but at least, they understand people want to watch the key players decide the outcome of the game not the refs.
6 players fouled out....I thought the refs were selectively whistle-happy, particularly for Big East play which is always on the far end of the spectrum.
It was awesome. Too bad there seemingly isn't a video clip.
The announcers mentioned it, but they did not show any video of it. Since the action was on the other side of the court, I doubt a camera was focused on Buzz.
I saw it and wondered how he could not be out of the coaches box.

Out of the coaches box? - he was at the half court line in the middle of the floor...
Was pretty funny but he will get a T someday...

When is Buzz ever in the box?
For those that didn't see it live, his timeout 'dance' was WAY better than the sideline dance after the DJO Louisville dunk 2 years ago. Of course this one served a very different purpose; but just as entertaining in the moment.
in the final minute Wright also tried to call a TO after a made basket and had words with Burr. The refs called plenty of fouls but missed plenty of violations like travel and 3 seconds. Burr is just plain bad
buzz's "air" was at least as high as Jamil Wilson on his block.
