Even though I been getting on DJO, it was a great game by him today against a quality opponent. Come on DJO, we need your scoring ability.
We beat a team that will not even make the NIT by 4 points. I am glad we won, but this was no way a great win. Villanova had no players that were a matchup problem for us. Villanova like us plays a three guard lineup and has no outstanding bigman. This is a team we should of beaten by 20pts at home.

MU did dominate the game from start to finish. The problem was closing out each half. It was a 12 point game, and comfortable, with just over 2 to go. Poor FT shooting, silly fouls and lack of focus (offensively and defensively) to finish the game allowed Nova to make it slightly more interesting than it should have been.
