I believe the next 7 games is our season as we will find out what this team is really about:
Thursday, December 29 Vanderbilt Home 8:00 PM
Sunday, January 1 Villanova Home 12:00 PM
Wednesday, January 4 Georgetown Away 6:00 PM
Saturday, January 7 Syracuse Away 3:00 PM
Wednesday, January 11 St. John's Home 6:00 PM
Saturday, January 14 Pittsburgh Home 1:00 PM
Monday, January 16 Louisville Home 2:30 PM
So vote what you think our record is over this scretch
--------------
I voted for 5 and 2 (losses at SU and at GU) but I can easily see 4 - 3 (add a loss at home to UL). Any more than 3 losses would be a disappointment.
6-1
Loss comes either at GU or SU.
I see four games in there that get me a bit nervy. Vandy, G'Town, Syracuse, and Louisville. Somewhere between 4-3 and 6-1. I'll go 5-2.
With Otule - 5-2 (losses at Cuse and Georgetown, take care of business at home)
No Otule - 3-4 (move Vandy and Louisville to the Loss column)
3-4 with 2-5 more likely than 4-3. I see beating St John's and Villanova. I think we either beat Pitt or Louisville at home. The rest are losses.
3-4.
BE play is like no other.

This Warrior fan hates to say it, but 4 - 3 might be the right call; however, not because of the loss of Mr. Otule. Unfortunately, the Warriors, during the tenure of the always improving Coach Williams, have "trended" not to do well with less than two days between games. It it hard to say why ... tired legs, heads, souls? Or, do the Warriors fall into the trap of working hard, instead of working smart? Only those on the inside have a clue. Anyway, on second thought, let's go with 6 and 1 ... the one loss being at Syracuse.
Thursday, December 29 Vanderbilt Home 8:00 PM Win (60% to 70% chance)
Sunday, January 1 Villanova Home 12:00 PM Win (75% chance)
Wednesday, January 4 Georgetown Away 6:00 PM Loss (we could get this one, but 60% chance we don't win, but this is one we could get)
Saturday, January 7 Syracuse Away 3:00 PM Loss (20% chance we win. Play this game 5 times, we may walk away with a win).
Wednesday, January 11 St. John's Home 6:00 PM Win (nothing is certain, 20% chance we don't win)
Saturday, January 14 Pittsburgh Home 1:00 PM Win (60% chance of a win)
Monday, January 16 Louisville Home 2:30 PM Loss. Toss up 50/50 due to a home game. I'll give us the Loss due to the home crowd being less of a
factor at 2:30 on a Monday afternoon. Students better show for this game.
So 4-3. Could easily be 3-4 (Pitt or Vanderbilt loss) or if lucky 5-3. 5-3 means we are a really good team.
C'mon guys, we're going to win them all!
Until I see otherwise, there's no reason to doubt that we can and WILL win everyone. I'm optimistic and excited at this point and if we play our game, we'll be once-defeated and ranked in the Top 7 again.
Any takers?

This made my day hehehe.
I think we will go 5 and 2 with Otule playing. We are really deep this year. We can afford to be aggressive on defense. We need to keep who ever is "hot" shooting on the floor. Go Marquette!!!

I agree ... to go 5 and 3 over the next SEVEN games means we are really good!
Ha ha. Okay, 5-2 over the next seven means we are really good.
The next three games.....leading up to you know who, have the makings of a fun stretch all by itself.
One day at a time........
I put 5-2.
Vandy and Villanova are not to be overlooked, but they appear down this year.
Georgetown is a place we've won before, Syracuse is not.
Take care of business vs. St. John's at home, and grab one of two from the MLK weekend doubleheader and that's what you get.
4-3 or 5-2, tough call. Louisville is the one that is the toss up for me
12% koolaid
78% optimistic

I think your 8% value is a bit low.

So, you guys must be the 1-6 vote, but probably only with a 10% chance :P

With Otule we will be 4 and 3, coach likes only defense, so unfortunately, Gardner will be mostly on the bench
