haha really Hards_Alum? (I guess I can see how it came off like that, maybe)

Just re-reading through a lot of posts and I see "if we had Otule..." type comments in them. Well, guess what...WE DON'T. And just by saying that, doesnt change the outcome of the game...although maybe it helps people cope with it easier.

Chris brought a lot to this this team (especially on the defensive end) that didn't always show up in the box score. It's too bad it took an injury for a lot of fans to realize it. I'm hoping, for him - and obviously the team, that he can get back on the court this year. I remain optimistic.

But if it turns out he can't...that "what if's" are already old

We're going to lose games anyway and people are going to lose their minds anyway.  Everybody loses and we're really good at losing our minds here.    But if he comes back and can do what he did before, there will be fewer losses.

If/when Otule comes back it's still Buzz's fault. Or Crean's.

QFT.

I don't know why it seems that our fan base just loses their minds after every loss.

Even if we have Otule, we will be at best 12-6 in the league, hard to win on the road.

Dwight Buycks' shot selection, the Chicago Tribune articles about sexual assault allegations and the need to have Jake Thomas on the floor to spread the D.

Slow defensive rotations, no free throw shooting practice, recruiting jucos, not calling time outs quickly enough, calling timeouts too quickly and not having them at the ends of games, not fouling up 3 late, fouling up 3 late, choking, being outhustled and being generally outcoached.

Slow defensive rotations

Actually, that one's legit.

As far as what the stupid people will say:

"Vander Blue is overrated"

Lack of fan support, change in administration at MU, the Admirals sheet under the home floor, the road arenas, the color jersey worn.... ::)

The awful student section this year that can't wave their arms properly during free throws.

Giving the open scholarship to a walk on that isn't playing this year.

team is worrying about the end of the world being less than 1 year away now, 12/21/12.

LOL, this is a great strand.  My favorite is always when a team goes like 22 of 25 from the line and loses by 2 points and you get:

"Do you realize if we'd made (all of) our free throws we would have won?"
