better at LSU than at Wisky. Todd finally played like a freshman. More diappointing was the play of Vander and Junior, and the complete lack of contribution from the bench.
Did we blow a 13-0 lead? Game was not available here.
DJO thanks for the senior memories
Really not a surprise. We have a problem with long teams like LSU and Washington. And of course bad shooters always seem to have a field day against us. But it reallly wasn't the defense it was the offense. Can't just throw stuff at the hoop, you've got to be able to shoot. If we can't get free throws on the way to the hoop we are just average at finishing. Also noticed when one guy drives the others just stand around and watch.
Oh well go home and get ready for UWM.

I was thinking the same about Mayo. Showed he was a freshman tonight. Not a bad thing to happen early in the season.
I was more disappoint with DJO, though. He killed us with his turnovers and silly plays. I thought, after sitting Saturday, that he would come out on fire. When the game was there to be taken, I expected DJO to take it.

Yes we did. They than had a 15-2 run
Hello NIT
Disappointing, but understandable. LSU came ready to play. CO out hurt tonight.
DJO was brutal, as was Junior. He puts up good #s vs. bunnies, but vs. a decent opponent he plays to his limited abilities.
I kept yelling at DJO to take over the game.... But soon realized DJO was being locked down by LSU....DJO baskets were pretty much wide open shots..otherwise the fake shot was guarded and the dribble drive wad completely denied. NBA stock in DJO is dropping fast. He is not quick enough off the dribble to create his own shot.

This game didn't matter. We already won our Super Bowl on December 3rd.
There are a lot worse games to lose than non-conference road games in December. Just sayin.
I think DJO was trying to take over. At times it seemed he was pressing.
