Per his facebook post:
"God had it in store for me to complete my first training camp at age 22 and excel in it but it just wasn't the right time yet.. Gotta love that man for everything tho..back to the grind like everyday!! 110% like always. More motivation to keep pushing and get back up here real soon... Peace and luv."
It appeared the initial buzz in Phoenix was positive about Buycks. Hope he excels in the D-League and gets another chance to shine soon. The more alums in the Association that we can attach to Buzz and the program the better.
Agreed. What a positive experience for Dwight. I'm sure he received feedback on what he needs to do better, and will improve his game.
Keep grinding Dwight.
I'd love to see Dwight and Jerel land on rosters with shots at getting some minutes.
Anyone heard anything about Rel? I was hoping one of the many teams scrambling to fill their roster for opening day might have been inspired by his D League stardom in last Year's play-offs.
I like all the positive vibes, but sorry, Dwight Buycks is not an NBA player.
I know that worse players have gotten looks in the past, so I wouldn't be so bold as to say ZERO chance, but not much more than that.
The guy lost his starting job in college. He's not tall. He's not super fast. He's not a dead-eye shooter. He's not a lock-down defender. He's simply not an NBA player.
