Title: Old News Previous Unseen Note on Big East Expansion
Post by: MU Fan in Connecticut on December 16, 2011, 08:12:45 AM
I found this article on Big East expansion.  Nothing really new except I caught one interesting tidbit that I wasn't aware of.

The media brain trust that the Big East had advising them included three former broadcast network presidents and former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue.

We all knew Tagliabue was advising, but I wasn't aware that three former broadcast network presidents were involved also.

It would be nice if they created a Big east basketball night with 2 games, one in the east at 7 and another in the midwest at 9
