Per MUAthletics twitter.
I doubt he'll make a team this year, but after trumping him as a possible NBA player last year, I feel pretty good about this. DB has been playing well in Tulsa and is definitely the kind of guy you want to cheer for.
Buycks always had the ability to score in bunches which we saw in the ND game and during the Pro-Am, he just often had to shoulder part of the PG burden. If you can fill it up, you can find a spot in the league

Where is Willie? I actually kind of miss him.

He only posts after a Marquette loss.
Happy to hear this for Dwight...all you can ask for is a chance...he'll get to show his stuff with the Suns. All exposure is good exposure. Really believe the Wes effect is paying huge dividends at MU - as well as the reputation MU is developing for turning out high character guys, with great work ethics.
Good luck to Buycks..
I think this is the best year for ANY NBDL player to see the court in the League. With back-to-back games, it's going to be prime to keep the greyhounds in top condition. Not to mention, trying to get players on the roster who have a minimal impact on the bottom line but can help spell the premier players.
Buycks can make the team.
Or another one...this season.

So what happens after we go undefeated through march madness? Does Willie not make an appearance for a solid 1.5 years? I wouldn't complain.

Anyone know if Jerel McNeal is in a camp? Seems like a good year for him to get a shot. Could see as many as 7 MU players get NBA minutes this year...
