when lavin got hired, then got a few great recruiting classes, i was a little scared that St. Johns would become a stud program and that in turn might hurt marquette. now?... not so much. what is going on there?
Bummer for St. John's. I watched a few of their games very early in the season and Lindsay looked like a good player. He also had a really cool/sad story. Both of his brothers were murdered while he was in HS, at different times. After the second, he got extremely depressed and quit playing organized basketball. And then his mother died. Did not play for two or three years, but decided to get back into the game so he went to JUCO. After a year there he found himself at St. Johns.
