Clearly they don't view him as a point guard.

""He's another switchable," Williams said. "He doesn't really have a position. He's like all our other guards, except for Junior [Cadougan] and Derrick [Wilson]. Just a good player, a guy that can pass, dribble and shoot. Has a Big East body. Can endure how you have to be able to guard in this league."

Great article.

Kinda funny that the subheading lists T.J.'s height as 6'3" but in the text of the article he's listed as 6'4".  Either way, I think he'll slide nicely into the role vacated by DJO, with 1-2 inches of extra height.

For us old school guys: Could his coach have a better name than "Chuck Taylor"?

Still wear Chucks for bopping around -- now they have become cool and expensive.

Every time I pull 'em on and take a few steps, I think: "Wow ... did I really play in these things?" My answer reveals my age range, dammit!

I've got some black Chucks myself.  I can't believe I played bb in them until the Adidas shoe came out.

You are old, my 8th grade version were $13, plus of course the school color coordinated laces.

I'm with Freeport Warrior on this one.  $10 in 7th grade.  I still think Chuck Taylor's had the best shoe bottom, from a non slip aspect, of any basketball shoe I've ever worn.

No I'd say your use of "bopping around" revealed your age way before you said you played in chucks.  ;D

Favorite basketball shoes were the original Nike Penny Hardaways and the Jordan 11's. I also liked the nike Dennis Rodmans that laced up the sides. Yeah I was pretty fly in junior high. Obviously this can shows my age.

When I was in seventh grade at St. Sebastians on the west side of Milwaukee there was a new guy coaching the sixth grade who helped our coach out. He was a husky guy who was at MU.  Rick Majerus was his name.  I wonder what happened to him...?
